Using this leash with my Doberman and the quality is really nice. The leather feels strong and durable, and the hardware looks solid. It gives me good control during walks, even when he gets excited. It’s a little long for me, so I just tied a few knots to shorten it, which works perfectly. Also, it doesn’t hurt my hand or feel rough when he pulls, which I really appreciate. Overall, very happy with it — sturdy, comfortable, and great for a bigger dog.

Well made great quality leather leash. I also like it because it has a little springing us to it which allows my dog to move and not to be jerked.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love the Leash. Years ago I had a leather leash similar to this because the trainer I was working with at the time recommended leather over the man-made materials because it reduces the chance of burning in your hands if pulled. This particular leash is one of the best I’ve ever used. It’s small and light, seems very durable and works for good control. I paired it with one of their rounded leather collars because those are much easier on the dogs for and won’t rub them raw or rub the fur off the dog. So far great pic, great product and a well-made leash. By the way, the hardware is great on this, very well-made and strong and durable from what I can see so far

This is a nice leather leash. It is well crafted and looks like it will readily last for quite a while. As a trainer my preference is always a nice supple leather leash, and this fits the bill well.

I bought this leash about a year and half ago for one dog and another one in March 2020. Recently they did both start cracking, the older one worse than the newer one. I contacted the company about the warranty advertised and sent them a photo, they sent me a 99 percent off coupon to replace the leashes. They do start more stiff but then the leather relaxes and it is really soft. They look nice, overall they are more durable and tougher than other leashes I've used. Fabric leashes in the past have broken on me completely with no warning. I do really love these leashes.

I can honestly say for the price I was totally shocked at the quality of this product. Beautifully made and excellent quality leather. Will definitely use this company again

It's a very nice supple leather leash. It's easy to use and is strong. I have two medium-large dogs. I just have to make sure my dobi puppy doesn's chew it. It's easy to use during training or just walking. I prefer the braided leather near the hook to the collar. It doesn't give way when the dog pulls.

I was ready to be disappointed, considering the surprisingly low price... but the other reviews were right- this is an EXCELLENT lead. Well made, sturdy, and already softened to make it comfortable in the hand. The hardware was heavier/larger than i anticipated, but my dog will grow into it just fine. My concern was having a 6 foot lead that could handle a long life of use and stay SECURE, and that's what i received. Very pleased, and also the unexpected little gift they included was a lovely treat. Thank you!

I’m very pleased with this leash. It’s strong and soft in my hands. The brass hook seems good quality. My last leather leash lasted 6 years through snow, water, and mud. Hoping for the same from this one.
