The media could not be loaded.  The package itself is really thorough, since it includes not just the microscope but also a convenient carrying case, a phone attachment that allows for the capture of enlarged photos, and a biological lab kit for beginners. It is clear that the producers have a deep understanding of the requirements that young explorers have, as seen by the meticulous attention to detail that was placed on the packaging and the considerate inclusion of accessories. As a result of the clear instructions that were supplied, the process of setting up the microscope was quite simple. The fact that even my daughter, who is eight years old, was able to follow along with ease helped her develop a feeling of independence and success. The magnification range that could be adjusted, which went from 40X to an astonishing 2000X, opened up a whole new universe of opportunities for observation and knowledge acquisition. At the same time as we started our research, the quality of the optics became completely obvious. In addition to being sharp and clear, the photos revealed fine features that would have been inaccessible to the human eye in any other circumstance. The textures of leaves, the complex designs on insect wings, and the intriguing world of microbes that can be discovered in common items were all things that my children were interested in learning about.

Bought this for my son's birthday. He loves it! It's not fancy but it's a great set to introduce how to use and care for a microscope. It's a really cool microscope set. Has multiple features. Comes with lots of slides and other tools. There are already things on it for you to look at and you can get a closer look at them. She also really enjoys using the microscope to find other things to look at. A really great toy to use to help them learn things, perfect gift for a young and curious little scientist

Gave as a gift to my 12 year old grandson, it claims it is wrapped and ready to gift but it isn't. He does enjoys using it but seems to have a hard time getting it into focus. Carrying case is nice, it makes it easy to pack up and store after use and to take on the go. Seems like a nice microscope for beginners his age but wouldn't recommend for the very young scientists.

Someone had gifted my daughter a cheap toy version of one of these and you couldn't see anything so I searched Amazon for one that really works. This one had good reviews so I got it for her for Christmas. Only complaint is that it has a cord to plug it in so we assumed that would turn on all lights. Not the case. You need 3 double a batteries for the bottom light. Little frustrating and doesn't make much sense. For now we can use the top light for non transparent slides, but the rest of the slides are no good till we can get batteries. What we did get to see took some fiddling around to make it work cause we dont know what we are doing, but we eventually figured it out and my daughter was quite excited to be able to really see the slides. I bought her a box of tons of pre done slides. She's having a lot of fun. Cant wait to get batteries so we can see the other slides. Definitely recommend.

Very good microscope. Kids love it. But, the phone adapter is not for an Android phone that has the camera on the right side.

The idea is great; an affordable scope for beginners. However, although this scope comes with some great magnification, it falls short of being reliable. For example, the power cable doesn't firmly connect to the scope, so it loses power the moment the cable is touched. For someone just learning, this is not something you want them to deal with.
