Do these have ... like.. a rubbery chew to them? How is the chewing-ness to these noodles. Thank you.

The texture straight out of the bag, in my opinion, is like crispy, snappy plastic fishing line. I absolutely hated them the first time I bit into them. HOWEVER, after I learned how to soften kelp noodles using the baking soda plus lemon juice trick, I can't get enough of them and could eat them all day long! No lie. To soften them, put a 1tsp/2tsp mix of baking soda and lemon juice into a bowl. Rinse the Sea Tangle kelp noodles with water and then put them into the bowl. Massage the mixture into the noodles until the noodle's texture changes to that similar to al dente; it does not take very long at all--probably 30 to 60 seconds. Rinse really, really well or they will continue to get softer. Because I liked them so much and wanted to save money, I hacked the recipe and now make kelp noodles from scratch.
