Funtek Trampoline and Enclosure System(Cover not included)

I ordered the 14 foot funtek trampoline for my grandkids. It was out of stock, but did not take long to come in.Shipping was odd, as a freight company delivers it. They contacted me regarding the shipping with a tentative date of 4/4--4/6/2012. They wanted to verify a phone number to call to organize delivery. My daughter never rec'd a call, but it was delivered on 4/3. Thankfully she was home, as a freight truck delivers this, it is heavy and is moved off the truck with a hydraulic palate type lift., she was able to allow the delivery man to put in in her garage. They were due to go out of town, and it would have been awful had it arrived when they were away!!?MY MAIN POINT FOR THIS REVIEW is that it does NOT come with the cover as the web page deceptively advertises. It is shown in the photos AND in the video on the web page. However it was marked on the box, NO COVER and like I said, not included. I contacted Amazon re: this and was told, (as expected it is not included). I told them they then need to change their website or somehow where you can actually read it state COVER NOT INCLUDED. One of the reasons I purchased this particular trampoline was for the cover, as well as how much safer it is than others I have shopped for. I want my grandchildren to be safe. I am actually going to overlook the whole thing with Amazon, because I have priced this item elsewhere and the cost is higher. Hammacher Schlemmer Catalog lists it for $599.00 with a $149.95 shipping fee. To me, however it is the principle. Be honest. We all work hard for our money and deception really P@#$%^ me off!!5/2/12 ADDENDUM---> AMAZON DID FOLLOW THROUGH, ADDED COVER NOT INCLUDED TO THE ADVERTISEMENT, AND ALSO CREDITED ME FOR $75.00And---->> the net on the trampoline was defective in one spot. my daughter (trampoline was a gift for my grandkids) contacted funtek directly and they are replacing the yet.Problems solved. Thankyou Amazon, and Thankyou Funtek.Glad I ordered when I did cuz the price has substantially gone up.It's a great product, very very sturdy.

Originally, we were going to purchase a trampoline from SAM's club, but the reviews and the people we spoke with pointed us in a different direction. I ordered this 14' trampoline over a month ago. It was advertised for $499 and free shipping. Amazon had the best price anywhere. It has been on backorder, so it just arrived yesterday. As a few other comments have noted, the package does NOT INCLUDE THE COVER even though the pictures and videos both imply there is one included. In the end, Amazon's customer service admitted the product was not advertised properly and offered to refund $50 or have the entire unit returned. The latter was not an option, since it was already put together. Besides, who is going to take a trampoline from a child based on the poorly advertised item? So they credited our account. There were no delivery problems, the trampoline seems to be well built, and was reasonably easy to assemble. I am very happy we purchased this item and very thankful to Amazon for standing behind their sales. NOTE: The price has increased $200 since we purchased the item. If purchasing today, I doubt we would spent $699.

We purchasd the twelve foot model just over a year ago. After about 6 months the blue cover over the springs started fading. Within 11 months the spring cover rotted out and the foam covers for the bars has disentigrated. Now one of the spring anchors has pulled off of the trampoline mat. Our kids are 6 and 8 years old and aren't big. We have tried to contact the manufacturer several times to buy replacement parts, but have received no response. Now their phone number is disconnected.I'm very surprised that Amazon still sells this product. I would not buy this product again and would advise Amazon to stop selling this.

This is the first review I've taken the time to write about. I am SO disappointed in the extremely poor quality of this product. I have owned trampolines for over 20 yrs and mistakenly changed manufacturers. I thought Funtek looked like a great product online, especially the ability to put the protective netting and side bars down and have them covered from the elements during months of disuse. The product actually dissolved in front of our eyes. Over a period of several months the blue foam coating on the bars turned into brittle dust when touched. The pad, actually fell apart. I had to replace the pad and the protective netting which ripped with the slight of hand. Just the other week the trampoline itself ripped. We live in a very temperate climate in southern California. My kids weigh under 100 lbs so the trampoline is not stressed. A VERY poor quality product. AMAZON should take this off it's website. There is no way to contact the seller at this point, unless I'm missing something.

I purchased this for my two daughters (six and three). The safety features and stability were the main selling points for me. After doing my homework and researching trampolines, this was the best option for my family. I put it together myself when it arrived in about three and a half hours. I can say with 100% certainty that my girls (and my wife) have enjoyed this trampoline. They are in it almost every day and always ask for 'one more' jump before we go in for the evening. I have had no negative experience with any of the materials or how it arrived. It's been eight months since I put it up and have had no issue, even with daily use.

BUYERS BEWARE, NO REPAIR PARTS ARE AVAILABLE! We put this up 12/24/2011, within weeks the zipper broke on the netting. Now after it's first summer, the net, foam bar protection, and the vinyl around the jump area is all disintegrating, it just crumbles when touched. I just got off the phone with Amazon and asked why they are still selling if nobody can get a hold of Funtek (including Amazon), he told me they need to sell the old inventory. We have tried sending emails and calling any phone numbers we found on Google, nothing works! $500.00 down the drain!
