Alright not the best but alright.. Don't bother putting it on a wagon because you ain't going to get Comms it is you drive over 20 mph..the unit doesn't hold...nope it don't...

Despite the relative cheapness of the antenna, it is VERY good quality and well made. The shielding is excellent, the fittings are firm and secure. I tested it with my mobile unit and it performed really well. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a cheap, reliable and totally mobile antenna. Ideal for a beginner!!

Bought this CB antenna for my radio, and my friend did the same after seeing the promising reviews. We both mounted it on the roofs of our cars, expecting decent range. Straight out of the box, without any tuning, we barely got 50 meters of range — pretty much useless. After spending about an hour tweaking and tuning everything, we managed to push the range to around 200 meters, but even then the signal would completely drop off beyond that. Honestly, for something that’s supposed to be used over longer distances (especially while driving), it just didn’t cut it. In the end, we gave up on the CB setup entirely and switched to a decent pair of walkie-talkies — now we can easily communicate a mile apart on the motorway without any issues. Might look good on paper, but in practice, this antenna just didn’t deliver. Save yourself the time and frustration.

I am very happy with this antenna it is very well built and I have no trouble receiving a signal. Magnetic base with a pretty powerful magnet dose not move around even at 70mph.

No signal whatsoever - used the magnet for magnet fishing though

Does the business and for such a short antenna is ok. Only thing I don't like is all the transmissions received come through slightly distorted. At first I thought it was my rig, but I've tried the aerial on two other rigs and it's the same.

Eine tolle kleine Antenne für meine Alan 42 ds und meine Pni 62. Gut für unterwegs da sie nicht so lang ist. Klar ist eine Hyflex mit 54cm wohl besser aber diese hier ist an der Funke eben handlicher. Empfang und Sendeleistung sind kaum schlechter als bei der Hyflex.

Exactly the same antenna as on my 27mc walkie-talkie with the same performance. Obviously not the same performance as the longer antennas, still overall pretty good. Magnet is good, no issues at 120-130 km/hr. Cable seems cheap and could be longer. Cost-wise I think its somewhat expensive, which is the reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.
