CALIDAKA Fish Finder Mount Base - 360 Degree Rotation Universal Marine Electronic Holder for Boat

Bought this for my Hummingbird Helix 5"&7". Will work great for both. It's Rugged, built to last, plenty of pre drilled holes to fit about any graph.

I HAVE HAD MANY LOCATOR MOUNTS FOR OVER $50 AND THIS LOW COST ONE IS JUST AS GOOD. I WORK ON OTHER PEOPLES BOATS AND WILL PURCHASE MORE OF THESE.

Only thing I didn't like was the nut came loose twice on the main base that you mount to the boat I suppose a little loctite would fix that

Great mount! I have used RAM mounts for years and they are great. I needed another mount for a 5 inch garmin and thought I would try this out. Glad I saved the money and went this route. It is plastic to I wouldn't mount anything too big on it but will be great for the 5 inch garmin. In the photo, the right fish finder has a ram mount and the left is this mount. The base is plastic so it was easy to cut and modify to what you need.

The only real complaints I have were the balls were not securely mounted. Some threadlocker cured that. 2nd, with all the holes in that plate, one would expect to find 4 to line up for a helix 5 mount but nope. For the money though, I'd buy it again. Holes are cheap to drill. Its now securely mounted and I can flip it around to see it from my bow fishing seat.

I got this, but did not need it. Most fish finders come with their own mounts and this was not needed at all. I kept it though as it is well made and I may have other uses for it on my boat.

Seems well built and sturdy. Need to install and have it hit the waters (& waves) to see if it will hold but initial impressions are very positive considering the price…
