Good product!
Good price point for bulk size. Detergent smells slightly of lemon, but the lemon scent did not transfer onto clothes. The detergent is a flour like consistency. I have had no issues with clumping or clothes coming out of washer with powder because I do sprinkle the detergent alongside where the water fills into.I would say the quality is the same as Arm & Hammer. Not better, not worse. That’s not a bad thing, as I also did use A&H prior to this switch. A few family members and my dog are very sensitive to perfumes and so I do not use products like Gain or Tide which irritate their skin. I also have a big family and this bulk powder will last a good while. Clothes being clean and cost effective are vital to a large family and this brand fits the bill.

Fresh and Clean!
I love it. Smells great. It is actually powder and not the grainy kind like name brand detergents. Clothes are soft without using fabric softner in wash. This should last a long time. Will definitely purchase again. Great value!! 😁❤️

Better than Tide, Gain, and Downey
Until now, I've never had jeans come out of the wash so soft. I can't believe this product hasn't reached Tide status. I've always stuck with name brand products because I'm a firm believer you get what you pay for. Well, I'm here to say this laundry powder is better than tide. It's better than gain. I read reviews prior to purchase and was skeptical mainly because I've never heard of this brand before. I have a large family and was looking for cost saving options. This definitely checks all the boxes. I will be a repeat customer. Leaves no residue, no odors, and the results are surprisingly great. I may not need to buy expensive laundry additives again. Cha-ching!

Powdered detergent, economical and not overly scented
Nowadays the selection of plain powdered laundry detergent, at least in my area, is quite limited. I don't like the strong perfume of TIDE, and I can't find "Tide Free" powder most of the time, and when I do it costs a LOT for a small box. Sams Club no longer sells the powdered detergent in buckets like they used to. Sears is gone so I haven't been able to get theirs in a long time. The liquid detergents and especially the "pods" that places sell now are generally quite wasteful, in my opinion. The Boardwalk powder is a tiny bit "clumpy" and less evenly milled than some, but it's quite acceptable. The scent is quite modest. It seems to clean clothes well. It's annoying that I have to have it shipped (I'd rather just pick it up at a store). Strangely, Amazon slaps a bunch of labels on the bucket and STILL puts it in a box. Walmart did the same thing when I bought a bucket from them. I guess it makes sense because nobody wants a bucket of powdered detergent to break in a truck.

Economical
I have been buying this product for 2yrs! I love that it really gets your clothes clean and I buy 3 of them because it is cheaper. It really gets ur close clean I use a 1/4 cup of this per regular load, heavy duty 1/2 cup, this lasts me about 6-8 months. If you are looking for something that smells good don't but this product (there isn't a smell), if you want your clothes really clean then this is product for you!

Obsessive laundress has new love. *Update*
First, I want to say that I am a laundry fanatic. I take laundry very seriously. We are a family of 5, and laundry is a daily chore. I separate, I starch, I stain treat, I soften, and I have a system that's been working for years. So that's the type of crazy who's writing this review.I read a study that said powdered detergent was no less effective in HE machines than pods, and so began the slippery slope that led me to Boardwalk. Now that we have that out of the way, here's my experience in bullet points. You cannot find a cheaper detergent than this.It does a great job. As good as tide, and you only use a little. The lemon scent is only noticable to me when the clothes are still wet.I use fabric softener for a nice smell and to reduce static. This is still a significant savings.I use a larger amount and a soak cycle for heavily soiled clothes and that works really well.I've actually stopped using Lysol laundry sanitizer for strong odors. I no longer need it.Less than stellar observations:I suspect that it causes more fading than tide. The powder is extremely fine, so avoid accidentally inhaling it.No fresh laundry scent.Skin irritation is possible. I did a soak load of underpants for our newly potty trained toddler, and forgot to do an additional rinse load. The result was some dermatitis where he was in contact with the clothing. It cleared up within 24 hours and hasn't been an issue since.I have no qualms about recommending this stuff. I used to spend 23.00 a month on pods and softener. This should last me at least 6 months.++++++++++++UPDATE++++++++++After 10 weeks of use, averaging 1.5 loads per day, here are my follow up observations.-It really takes very little of this detergent to get clothes clean.-The clothes come out feeling very clean. They *feel* clean. There's no residue.-I've been paying special attention to whether or not I see more fading than I would with a retail detergent. I do not.-I no longer think the bucket will last me 6 months. At the rate I'm going, definitely 3 months. I'll update when I run out.-Since the initial rash incident when I didn't get a proper rinse, there's been no itching or rash from anyone in the family.-I'm baffled by the odor removal powers of this cheap, plain, unadvertised detergent.-I continue to feel like I'm getting tremendous value out of this detergent.-It definitely requires the use of a softener or a dryer sheet in at least every other load, to avoid static. If you're a softener minimalist, bear that in mind.

This is The Only Detergent I use.. Great
This is the only Detergent I use. My husband use to work for a Company that made commercial detergent. And this is no different than the product they made. You do not need to buy the name brands and pay a fortune. This works great- just add a scent booster to it a d you will save money.
