Q: Does this shampoo have sulfate?

Not that I know of. It has a very clean and gentle feel to the scalp, it's the only shampoo that doesn't irritate my scalp and hair after prolonged use. Highly recommend

Q: Disappointed in some ingredients. why the phenoxyethanol? i've learned this is a harmful ingredient. does it have a natural and light scent?

It has a nice, subtle fragrance and does a nice job, but not for infants or people with severe allergies. From the internet, we have: Phenoxyethanol is used as a preservative in cosmetic products and also as a stabilizer in perfumes and soaps. Exposure to phenoxyethanol has been linked to reactions ranging from eczema to severe, life-threatening allergic reactions. Infant oral exposure to phenoxyethanol can acutely affect nervous system function.

Q: Is this shampoo recommended for (caucasian), long, wavy, non-colored treated hair?

I think it's for all types of hair. I happen to have long, wavy, non-color treated hair, and I love it for daily cleansing. I use a regular shampoo for deep cleansing once or twice a month if I do really dirty, outdoor work.
