Moisture Rich Liquid Hair Color, C11 Natural Black, with Shea Butter Conditioner, 1 Application

TL;DR: Go for Jet Black (in photos) over Natural Black. BYO gloves. Get full-sized conditioner. Feb 2024 (2 stars): I ordered "Natural Black" for my 4a/4b hair. Since I wear braids, I need good coverage at the roots, and I did 𝙣𝙤𝙩 get it. Most of my grays turned copper brown; the rest were simply unaffected. I used my own gloves, as there were none included. The conditioner is actually amazing, but it's a tiny sample packet. (I appreciate the reviewers who mentioned that; I bought a full bottle in advance.) April 2024 (updated to 4 stars): I gave it one more shot. Reviews for the "Jet Black" were good, so I tried it even though my hair isn't quite that dark. I first applied it liberally to the roots, then followed the recommendation to "add a little warm water" and work the color throughout. I left it on for 30 minutes, with good results: this color effectively covered my grays. (Also my skin and bathtub, but it wiped off easily. Always stay away from painted walls!) I normally do not give product reviews but I had to based on how impressed I am with this product. I have a very dry, coarse, 4c natural hair and I am always skeptical about using any products as it can worsen my hair's baseline. This was not the case. This product was easy to use, gave the desired result, did not make my hair shed, the conditioner has a nice fragrance and overall, the product softened my hair. This is also my first time using any hair dying product and this was definitely the product for me. I will be returning when I need to touch up on my roots and any new growth. I highly recommend this product.

All hair colors I use fades. This tends to fade but much slower. I get more washing before I am a red head.
