Used for hard banjo case - works perfectly
Product is size adjustable… used this for a hard banjo case and it worked great. Comfortable to wear. Used in 4 airports so far for carry-on purposes. TSA has taken it apart with no issues.

Skeptical at first but surprised by high quality
I was wary about this product because of the branding confusion. There was a Walker & Williams site listing the exact same design of this backpack strap for a hard shell guitar case with the same blue patent info printed. So it was unclear if Crossrock was a knockoff.I decided to get it anyway because it was the only good option I could find that would allow me to carry my case comfortably. I cared most about padded shoulders because my back and shoulders are already sore from my everyday backpack.I was glad when I got this that it did NOT have that hideous patent information actually printed all over the back padding and the shoulder straps are very thick/cushy. I’m 5’4” so it is possible that this will drop low for me, but hopefully it’ll be ok because I don’t plan to walk long distances while using it.

weak plastic?
The plastic buckle broke after 2 months, so it kinda sucks

Stoked
Purchased as a gift, my brother in law had never seen anything like it before but he was stoked because he travels a lot with his heavy steel guitar and this thing is easy to use and very sturdy.

Straps Are Not Nylon
From the photos, the straps would appear to be 1.5 inch nylon, which would make the kit extremely durable and very strong. But the strap material appears to be a type of cotton material. The item I received already had slightly frayed edges where the straps ride against the fasteners. If the straps were made of a seatbelt nylon or some other type of high strength material, then I could see this product lasting several years. I understand that the device is only meant to hold the weight of an acoustic guitar. For that purpose, it should last quite a long time. But I wanted to use it for carrying a heavier case, closer to eight or nine pounds. For a short time under that load, the kit would work nicely, but would eventually need replacement straps. Since the straps are not replaceable and not of a preferred material, it does not work for me. It is certainly comfortable enough, just not quite right for me overall.

Makes my hard case into a traveling case
I got one of these cause I often walk to church with my guitar in a hard case. This makes it more mobile. It works great but one thing I don't like is it is kind of a pain to put on the hard case. Even with that it was a good investment.

Backpack straps for your hard case.
I have imagined this since learning to play guitar. Keep the protection of a hard case and add the ease of carry with backpack straps. Adjust it for whatever instrument you need to carry at that time. Mine is holding up well to frequent use. Got a broken handle? This saddle is your answer.
