Price was really inflated

I love this gutsy indy flick about race-relations,urban crime maladies and"taboo"romantic aspirations..The(very true-to-life)segment touching on young men candidly discussing racial(sexual)sterotypes was an excellent touch! This movie features a good(hyper-sensitive)plot and VERY good acting throughout..However what really was the"clincher"for me as far as liking this flick was that it featured a lot of Detroit landmarks that were seen and/or frequented by me regularly as a proud life-long Detroit resident!! Cody Highschool(where the movies school-scenes take place is within walking distance of my house,and "SkateLand"skating rink on the eastside where the fatal shooting took place(And ironically where a LOT of Detroiters used to get"popped"!!)and those empty fields where one can set the natural gas-leaks afire appears to be in my absolute favorite neighborhood in Detroit:"Delray... I always enjoy seeing my city on the silver screen...But this movies' sensitive topic and emotional/realistic acting would've been a SOLID movie even if it was filmed on location in Toledo Ohio,Muskegon Michigan or Gary Indiana!! Overall a really great"no-holds-barred"mature,little-known movie!!

I saw this movie when it was first released. My first contact with modern pop music of the techno/hiphop (or whatever it is calld) era. Having watched the DVD about 12 years later, I was somehow disappointed. The story takes the viewpoint of teenagers and explores their relations among each other and with older generations - not unlike movies in the mold of Rebel Without a Cause. For people who do not belong to that age group this can be a bit boring. Zebrahead is definitely woth watching if you are interested in townscapes. Quite a lot of good, interesting location shooting in Detroit.

For starters this movie was in really great condition! I don't know why initially I thought this was a book. However, when I received it I got a movie! Really glad I got it. This movie is so underrated, and I'm really glad I got a chance to see this movie! Also, for it to be as cheap as it was it was in really good condition! Glad I could add this movie to my collection ;)

I really enjoy this movie. I even gave this one to a friend of mine. She also liked it. It deals with issues of racism. And it is very important to stop it. Even though it still exist, it dosen't mean we have to be apart of it. I say it really ended on a good note. Thanks Amazon for this movie.Dee SmallsDecatur, GA

This film was a really great story and was enjoyable to work on the crew! Long shoot days, but the caterer was good (haha) and in the end, a nice job at putting it all together! I'm retired now, but I really enjoyed watching this film after helping to light it and finally getting to see the finished product! I'm glad I was a small part of this film!! Definitely a must see for everyone!!

This was a good movie to watch as far as interracial couples go as it showed racism on both sides (black and white). Zach was very convincing and so was his girlfriend. Was going to let my children watch, but there was a lot of cussing I had forgotten about.
