Luna Bazaar 28-Inch Beige/Ivory Paper Parasol Umbrella - Chinese/Japanese Paper Umbrella - for Weddings and Personal Sun Protection

The parasol unfolded (and refolded) perfectly. The strings (yes cotton ish string) were all tied correctly. The wood stays are all identical. The paper had no flaws and the orange color was consistent throughout. I will give this parasol a useability test at pride.

I got these because I am attending an outdoor wedding this summer and as usual, while the bride and groom are standing in a lovely shaded arch the wedding guests are dressed up and sitting in the sun. For the record -those planning weddings - no one wants to sit in the sun. Anyway, this time I and the bride's mom will be prepared with these very pretty paper umbrellas. I got the light purple - it's a pale lavender so it won't clash with other colors. These will hold up well during the ceremony and the cocktails (also on an open patio) :) I highly recommend. And they came very quickly.

I bought the "perfect white" parasol to paint for a Kaylee Frye cosplay. I used a couple coats of acrylic to paint the swirls, and it came out really good. It is very white so it looks a little too new for the nature of the cosplay, but I'm working on slowly weathering it to dingy status.It feels sturdy and held up all day at a convention without breaking. I just noticed it has a crack down the middle of the stem though-- probably from someone bumping into it, which happened a lot on the convention floor. I'm just going to tape it up and it'll add to the authenticity, I guess. It doesn't feel like it's going to break or anything.I like that it came in a paper sleeve. I kept the sleeve for storage since it keeps the parasol compact when its closed.Overall this parasol is great for the price and saved me a lot of money over buying a pre-made Kaylee parasol. I'll update this review if it ever breaks down the line.

Bought it as a prop for a Halloween costume (Kaylee from Firefly). It arrived on time (good job seller) and undamaged (good job Amazon). Knowing that it is made of paper, I was especially careful when opening and closing it. It lasted the 3-4 hours that we were out at night, with no issues. It is a lovely product, and I can see why other buyers use it as a wedding picture prop. Would recommend to others!

It is definitely small and it is kind of hard to put up and take down. I have to have my strong husband do it for me. But other then that it does its job and its great for the price!

Absolutely horrible. Delivery was on time, packaging was nice, however, as soon as I went to open the parasol, there was a loud pop and one of the panels broke from the seam before it was even latched into the open position. You can see in this picture how the broken seam looks bigger than the others and yet the same amount of paper was used to make it. Very displeased with the craftsmanship of this item. I wouldn't even review using "star rating" if it weren't necessary.

Ordered this for a door decoration for a wedding shower. It was the perfect size, and looked really cute. It is better quality and much more durable than I expected.

Ordered two and received in perfect condition!These are just what I need for an upcoming photo session.You must be cautious when opening, gently loosen up the umbrella and when you open it this also has to be done gently, don't over force anything. These would be beautiful to paint on as well. Very happy with the product!
