Works fine with a7r II.
It can power my a7r II without lens, astro setup, even from PC USB 2.0 port. Power bank with 2A output should more than enough. Pouch is really nice. Not sure you can by it separately.

It works, with a flaw
The design of the cable is right in the middles, but the slit on the battery door is on the side, so I have to bend the cable a bit. This might affect the longevity of the battery. However, I think it's because there's only 1 Chinese manufacturer and all the sellers here just rebrand it, so there's no way around it. Other than that, I think it's ok. 5 star.

Works great with my a6400 for endless shooting
I have had great success with this adapter on my a6400. I use it for shooting long interviews without having to worry about my battery running out. I plug it into a Samsung usb wall plug when I am indoors and use a large battery power brick when outdoors. i would recommend to anyone to overcome the short battery life of the NP-FW50 batteries.

This item takes. Care of the horrible battery life of this camera.
This works well but others have said you have to have a beefy iusb connection to run it.

MISLEADING
If you are looking to use this to power your camera from an external monitor, make sure the DC end is MALE. I have no idea what purpose the manufacturer thought a battery to female end would have, but thats useful for absolutely nothing. Why tf would the female end be on the battery cord and not the USB cord???? Idiotic engineering, BUY THE CORRECT PRODUCT.However, if you do have a use for this, then its a 5/5. But there isn't a monitor that exists that works with this stupid brainless cord. If you engineered this, please tell me what it could be used for. Otherwise you desperately need to stay tf away from engineering.
