Good saw. Kind of expensive after shipping
Very good for roxsul and xps. Seems to keep an edge fairly well. Quick pass with a stone would keep it very sharp after cutting roxsul

Five Stars
Used to cut cryogel aerogel blanket insulation, worked perfectly so ordered additional units

A cheap 12" bread knife will do a better job!
I tried this saw to cut R48 Owens Corning fiberglass bats and it really didn't work that well. I found that a cheap Walmart 12" bread knife beat the pants off of it ( I sharpened it every 4-5 hours on one side with my wife's 3 stone Magic Chef knife sharpener.) I also used a DeWalt 8" heavy duty snap off blade knife that worked well when I depressed the insulation with a 2x6 for short cuts like under 24". I also should mention that I cut with the paper up so I could see my lines. I also tried this saw on R23 & R30 mineral wool insulation (both Roxul & Owens Corning) and it worked Ok, but again the bread knife or the Home Depot insulation knife worked better. In conclusion, don't waste your money with this over priced insulation saw!
