This is by far the best ESD 2-layer rubber green mat I could find with the price I am willing to pay. Not perfect but I already expected it. Pretty dark green. Finished pretty good in general with few 2~4mm discolored dots. It STINK pretty bad. If you had problem with rubber smell, you should not buy this. I expect rubber to smell but not this bad. Leaving it out in garage to vent. It took close to two month for my rubber floor mat to get ride of most of its odor. I expect this ESD mat will take longer that that. Will give an update later.In conclusion, I like it.

I installed the mat a month ago and the edges are still seriously curled. I even tried using a heat gun to relax the material, with no luck. I finally taped the edges with duct tape.The smell was really bad for the first two weeks. Luckily it was in a garage, not the house. After a month you can still smell it but it is no longer overpowering.I was using this under a metal grinder in the shop -so I can deal with the curl and smell. It would be totally unusable for its intended purpose on an office soldering workbench.

Great mat super durable

The description stated "odorless", well it had a strong smell for weeks. Also the edges whichg would expect to be straight, had a few that were rough edges. Made it had to line a bench top with out area missing near the edge. Another thing was it does not lay flat. Most of these mats should be able to be unrolled and lay flat or at least flaten out after being unrolled for a while. This mat did not, had to use double sided tape to hold the edges down.

It is very useful for electronics

I used the material for my reloading bench surface. I tacked one end down with a wood strip and then stretched the material to the other end of the bench and tacked it down. I trimmed the excess with a razor. I did epoxy a few spots around my reloading press but other than that it was easy to work with and I love that it is antistatic which of course is a good thing when working with gun powder. It does put off a chemical smell but does not bother me and the smell is decreasing a little every day.

It has been on my bench for over a month and the end are still a pit curled. My biggest complaint, after the odor which when away, is that the sides of the roll are not cut evenly to the edge looks sloppy on the bench.
