Great stone.
I have many, maybe too many stones but a 2k was missing from the progression. I also needed a semi aggressive stone to start and finish certain steels on. I have in my collection the Shapton glass 6k and I do like it a lot so the Shapton 2k was an obvious route to look at. It cuts like a dream and very fast, my included picture was 20 passes on SKS93 steel and you can see the metal removal on a brand new shiny clean stone.It will leave a fantastic edge that is both refined and has a bit of a toothy edge to it. It is splash and go and cleans up very easily.A winner all round really, very happy with this stone.

Best stone ever!
I was really impressed with this stone much more than the Naniwa Diamond. Beginners just grab this and learn on them you will for sure save money. Dreassing stone recommended for optimal use.

Great product, 2000 good all around sharpening
This 2000 abrasive size stone is ideal for upkeep of knives. Very happy with this product, you will need to go up to 8000 or higher to get to mirror finishes on your edge.
