Travelpro Crew 10-Softside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels, Merlot, Carry-On 21-Inch

Before buying a new suitcase I researched all my options for about a month. I read every Amazon review on other suitcases of a similar size with four wheels, looked at other websites, and took several for a test run at department stores. I travel roughly 90% of the time by plane for work so I was very particular with my choice. Ultimately, I decided to go with Travelpro for the quality and durability of the brand and this particular model because of the wheel and handle system. I bought this suitcase about three months ago so I have traveled with it quite a bit before writing this review.Pros:- Fantastic quality- Great price- Good interior size - (if you're moving from a two wheel suitcase it is smaller but I am able to fit five days of spring/summer work cloths, two pairs of workout cloths, and two pairs of shoes.)- Good exterior size - comfortably fits into overhead bins on all domestic airlines. Note: I have not flown internationally with this suitcase yet.- Drives like a dream - I am consistently amazed at how well this suitcase rolls - even over carpet. Sometimes on a hard surface I can have two hands on my phone and let it roll in a straight line next to me for a few feet while I type. It pivots and turns very smoothly. You do need to be careful if there is a bump, for example, on the jet bridge or from carpet to floor. It tends to want to tip over especially if the heavy items in your suitcase aren't packed in the back on the bottom.- Handle - very sturdy and has several options for height which I appreciate since I'm a little shorter. The contoured grip is very comfortable and makes it easy to push the suitcase. I attach my laptop bag to the handle and it sits nicely on the suitcase.- Zipper - very sturdy - opens and closes very easily.Cons:- I would have liked to see a taller plastic strip on the bottom back of the suitcase so that when you turn it horizontal to lift it from the jet bridge to the plane or up a curb it offers a little more protection to the fabric.Overall, I could not be happier with this suitcase and I can completely understand why flight crews use Travelpro.

This carry on suitcase exceeded my expectations. My daughter and I are traveling to France in October so I ordered two identical suitcases. I based my order on carry on size for international flights and reviews. This Travelers Crew 10 is used by flight crews.The Travelers Crew 10 has a sturdy build. The 4 rotating wheels make for ease of walking. The wheels allow you to walk with the suitcase rolling along side of you instead of having to drag it behind you. The TravelPod 10 is stable and does not tip over. There is plenty of room in the case for clothes, cables, etc. It has a suit bag so your dressy clothed will wrinkle less. The Travelpro Crew 10 has a mesh bag for better organization and a bag to hold any thing that could leak.I highly recommend the Travelers Crew 10 21 inch suitcase for your carry on luggage.

Overall, this is a great bag with lots of pockets and lots of space. Lightweight and well constructed. Used for several trips and still works as well as it did the first time. The handle slides in and out easily and locks into various positions. The wheels glide extremely smoothly which makes it easy to walk with. However, when you come to a stop, don't let go of the bag or it's probably going to take off without you, even on flat smooth surfaces. I was stopped on the gangway to get onto the airplane and was trying to put on my sweater, I had to block the suitcase with my foot to prevent it from sliding away. The fact that it glides like butter on any surface is both a pro and a con.

I purchased my Crew 10 21" Spinner recently and took it on it's first test drive less than a week later. The magnetron wheels roll smoothly; however, I would recommend not putting a large/heavy bag on top. It makes the operation of the bag very difficult and it may tip over. The handle is easy to move and has a higher setting for those who are vertically superior.My old roll aboard had the tendency to get checked by gate agents as it got "chunky" when packed well. I had no problem with the Crew 10! It packed nice and neat and is also lightweight.I even got a coupon for a free TSA approved lock inside the luggage. Of course, if it is used, TSA will cut it off like they did my Tumi bag!

This carry-on suitcase is a miracle. I bought one for my husband over a year ago and kept stealing it... Finally bought myself one in this flashy red. It can turn a full 360 degrees. The handle can be adjusted to height (I'm short, so this is extra amaze balls). I walk with it right next to me instead of dragging it behind me and I just loop my tote over the handle. The price is worth what you get. Great quality. The wheels are durable. My last suitcase of a different brand had terrible wheels that broke off and left me actually carrying the suitcase (THE HORROR). You can push it in front of you down the aisle and fits very easily into the overhead bin (I haven't had to check it so far). Zipper is strong and very smooth. I consider it a great investment.

After just three trips the handle will not extend fully and one of the zippers continues to come (separating the pull from the actual zipper) A great product as far as features, but it should work out of the box. Unfortunately after calling Travelpro they want me to ship it freight prepaid to a repair facility and then in a month or two will hopefully ship it back. For a company that touts themselves on being rugged, durable and reliable, it would seem they would have a better quality control method or at least less frustrating method of repairing products that are less than 2 months old. This was my third purchase from them in the past 2 years and I had hoped to replace all my luggage with their brand but this experience is going to cause me to look for a better value.
