Critical listing information missing, outstanding storage capacity.
Nowhere in the listing does it say if it has a drive in it or not. I was happy to note a 2TB Purple drive in it when I opened it. I wrote the manufacturer and asked for another really important piece of information not provided in this listing - How many and what size drives are compatible? It will hold four 6TB drives for an astounding 24TB of storage. So far I am very pleased. I will update this post if able after a month or so of operation.

Discontinued and no H265 support
The cameras will connect but no video. The guide says it will support H265 but I can't find any menu to support. Only H264

Try to conceal it in a closet or something like that and you'll love it big time
Got the US (white box) version of it... Connected my Hikvision cameras (some US, some China version), they powered right up and I started seeing the video feed in the screen without any configuration. I have a 3TB hard drive in it and 7 cameras, they've been recording 24x7 for the last 7 days and I'm still below 50% utilization on that hard drive... The NVR is a little noisy, so just make sure you dont plan to have it in your desk or in a public area... Try to conceal it in a closet or something like that and you'll love it big time!

Replacement power supplies are not available. New firmware release finally allows you to name cameras.
Replacement power supplies are not available. New firmware release finally allows you to name cameras. When I first purchased this unit I was shocked to discover the cameras could not be named. This massive mistake has been corrected in the latest firmware. The manufacturer, will NOT speak / help to customers, ONLY their licensed dealers. Fortunately, I purchased from a dealer with a telephone number. They got the manufacture on the phone then I was able to ask my question.

So far so good. SW is a little clunky but serviceable. Attached to my Hikvision cameras flawlessly. I am still learning how to set it up, so thank god for Youtube.

An Excellent NVR With 16 PoE Ports
I purchased this NVR to replace an older Hikvision NVR that a friend had installed at his club. The setup wizard was a breeze to get the system on line and cameras all added.Having the 16 ports on the back that have PoE built in was a superb feature for this job. It allowed me to keep the necessary component list to an absolute minimum. We access this NVR on our mobile devices via the app iVMS-4500. It works perfectly. I would definitely buy this product again.

Everything as described, no issues. I also had previous purchasing/user experience with 4 port connection model. Warning: You definitely need to be extremely computer literate if you plan on updating firmware as this is a Chinese based product with poor software/firmware upgrade support for English language users, or basically international users outside China.
