I have two pups, a rottweiler/American Eskimo mix and a chihuahua mix. I adopted them over two years ago from a local shelter. Both came with coat/skin concerns. The rotty mix looks more like a wolf. His long hair was matted and in matted swirls all over his body. He was missing hair on his tail and rear. The chihuahua mix had red skin under his coat and itched constantly. He was put on Apoquel. The rotty mix now has a BEAUTIFUL blue/black coat! Hair has grown back on his tail and rear. His hair is soft and plentiful. The chihuahua mix is no longer on Apoquel. I took him off of this medication in August of this year after being on for two years. He no longer has pink skin beneath his short coat. He does not itch. I fully believe that Strella Lab Omega 3 Fish Oil wafers restored both coats in my boys and stopped the little guy's need to be on Apoquel. I put in each breakfast bowl, two wafers each. They readily eat them along with their food. I noticed a difference in the coat of the rotty mix three months after being on Strella Lab Omega 3. The ingredients are natural, it costs minimally when compared to medication like Apoquel, my boys like the taste and it has restored their skin and coat to healthy levels. I will continue to give these Omega 3 wafers to my dogs daily. I am very happy with this supplement for my dogs.

Works amazingly. Got my dog to stop scratching in 2 days. His paw licking has decreased immeasurably and he’s only been on it about 5 days. Works better than the claratin and benedryl the vet recommended for his allergies.

We aren’t sure if the climate there has anything to do with his itchiness or not, but I mentioned it in case other shoppers might share the same circumstances. He just started taking them and really likes them as treatos. I ordered salmon flavored for him since he might be allergic to some products with chicken in them. My friend believes that they might be helping some but thinks there might be other factors involved too. She said that he has not been scratching as much since he started these. No, fleas are not an issue here, and he has had some allergic skin reactions in the past. He is still a puppy though, but he is a big puppy and has to have the maximum recommended number. So, this means they won’t last very long. I feel that the price is high, especially if you are buying for bigger dogs. I like that these are made in the USA, but no where is it specified if the salmon oil is sourced from wild-caught or farm raised salmon. That is something that I prefer to know. I deducted 1 star for that. I don’t have any photos of the product as this was shipped to my friend. I did post a picture of the one using the product.

Good prodict

I've been using this product for two weeks and have seen no improvement in my four dogs' scratching. UPDATE: I increasing to three stars as the seller offers me an immediate refund when product did not help my dogs.

Finally a supplement that my dog will eat. I don't have to add peanut butter to get her to eat these. She really likes them!! WOW. So I will be reordering more soon. I have not yet noticed a difference in her allergies but it's only been a week so I am sure it takes longer than that to take effect.

I bought this STRELLALAB Wild Alaskan Fish Oil for my 7-year-old pitbull, and I’m honestly really happy with the results. She has always had sensitive skin and would get dry patches every now and then, especially around changing seasons. After using this oil consistently, her coat looks shinier, softer, and way healthier.

Not sure if this is working for the itching and relief, but for my dogs coat, it is so much softer and looks and feels like she just got a bath even though she didn't, so for that part of this it works great.
