This is a great sling for hot temperatures and hot bodies. I live in Florida and my son was born in the late summer this year. I have a nice baby carrier but he and I were SO hot in it it made is very sweaty. Plus his little newborn head would want to droop down especially when he fell asleep and that would make me very nervous about his breathing. This wrap solves both of those problems. The material is like an athletic mesh which 1) dries quickly and doesn’t retain moisture 2) feels cooler and releases body heat. 3) if his head droops or presses against the fabric while he sleeps, he can actually breath as well! My ONE CON would be that the fabric material is not stretchy. Some elasticity in the fabric would allow for a snug yet comfy fit. So I would have given it a 4.5 star rating if I could have.

Bought this for a beach trip for my 6 month old and it worked out so much better than I expected. If you know how to put a wrap on this is easy. It did so good in the water with my baby. It did take a little bit to dry but honestly did great for our trip.

Great for the pool and beach! Fabric is not stretchy so it will take a few times to get the wrap and size right, but works perfectly once you get that straightened out. Dries quickly, and is great for supporting baby.

I was looking for a light-weight baby wrap made out of mesh material and this was the most attractively priced for quality/design option. I was looking for a summer option for my infant and did not try to take this into the water. I preferred this over some other branded ones due to the fact that I felt it was the right mix of non-stretchy but not overly tight mesh material used to make the wrap and was reasonably priced. The key to wraps in general is the type of material used to make the wrap (let's be honest, the other "problems" are usually operator error) as you need some stretch in the fabric but still have tension to hold up a baby, which is often contradictory to the nature of breathable fabric, e.g. mesh. In this case, this is a lightweight mesh-esque material that's fairly breathable, think basic gym short material. This makes the fabric very slippery, and not always with a lot of slack. I found that the edges of the wrap were a bit more forgiving than some of the other ones I've encountered and my baby was not bothered by the edges riding up on his legs (whereas some other ones he squawked and was visibly uncomfortable), so it became the preferred use wrap. You do need to be practiced in putting a baby in a cotton wrap before attempting this due to the lack of slack and slippery fabric. Further, I recommend that after baby's been riding in the carrier for some time to adjust the material as it can ride up on the baby's butt. I don't think this should detract from the product necessarily because all wrap type carriers require tweaking over time.

I like the fact that this is mesh so it’s not as hot to wear. When my son was a baby I got the Moby wrap and it was great but so hot for me and for him. Now with my twins I tried this and while it’s cooler, my problem with it is it’s not long enough! The Moby is super long and this one isn’t nearly as long so I couldn’t do the double wrap around. For me that makes it feel less secure. Maybe if you’re a smaller frame it could work for you but if you’re a larger frame or even plus size you may want to skip this and just get the Moby or something else altogether.

I got this wrap after realizing that the heavy fabric of my other wrap is way too hot for the summer. I was very pleased with how lightweight the fabric is along with how secure I feel like my baby is in this. I have been using it for a couple weeks now and my baby is now 6 weeks old. It has been great so far and I am looking forward to use it as he grows. I wear this wrap every where with him. I have used this at the park, the botanical gardens, in the store, and even in the pool. When I used this in the pool the other day I was impressed with how well it stayed in place and how quickly it dried afterwards. The colors seem to have stayed the same as well. I would definitely recommend this wrap to others. I was initially worried about how difficult it would be to learn to put this wrap on so I watched tons of videos before using the similar wrap I had gotten as a hand me down. I tested to see if the wrap seemed right on one of my older sons stuffed animals. It was a lot easier to learn than I thought it would be and I have gotten faster at putting it on the more I have used it and I am feeling like a pro at it now. I know some people have said that they felt the need to attempt to make the wrap looser to accommodate their child but I feel like the material has enough stretch to just put it on and stretch the fabric over my baby. That may change once he gets a little bigger though.

Great for new born phase when you have a Velcro baby and you need to shower! Also the pool or beach!

This was a game changer for us at the water park! She came everywhere with me (aside from the water slides) and it held her up great. Even my oldest daughter was able to use it. I will say, there is a learning curve to putting this on. It took two people to get the baby in properly. There is absolutely no stretch to this. As other reviews have mentioned so if you don’t tie it perfectly the first time you have to undo it and redo it. That is the only downfall to this, otherwise it was a great option for Baby and I didn’t have to hold her the entire time.

Ich schreibe sonst keine Rezensionen aber da ich gefühlt ewig im Internet auf der Suche nach Erfahrungsberichten zu wassertragetüchern war und dann einfach dieses aufgrund des günstigen Preises bestellt habe, möchte ich meine Erfahrungen jetzt mal teilen. Wir wollten mit unserem großen in ein erlebnisbad und ich wollte natürlich mit unserem jüngsten (6 monate) gern mitgehen und nicht den ganzen tag im babybecken verbringen oder angst haben, dass er mir nass unter der dusche wegflutscht. bisher habe ich im Internet nur sehr teure tragen oder slings oder Tücher gefunden. Ein Preis für mehr als 50 Euro war mir aber irgendwie zu hoch, gerade weil es ja nur ab und zu mal ist und kein normales tragetuch im Alltag ersetzen sollte. Dann hab ich dieses hier gefunden. Zwei Bewertungen dachte ich mir, ist ja nicht viel, aber immerhin sind diese positiv. Ich habe mich bewusst nicht für einen sling entschieden, weil ich glaube dass das mehrlagige binden stabiler für uns sein würde und wenn man doch seitlich tragen will kann man ja auch ein Tuch als seitenvariante binden. Gesagt getan.. Heute bestellt, morgen schon da. Ich war vom ersten Eindruck positiv überrascht. Ein Beutel ist dabei und das tuch roch bei mir nicht chemisch. Es ist ein sehr leichtes polyestergewebe, das wirklich schnell trocknet. Ich trage meinen Sohn täglich in tüchern seit seiner Geburt, er ist es also gewohnt darin zu sein und auch in diesem tuch fühlte er sich während unseres Aufenthaltes im erlebnisbad sehr wohl. Er schlief sogar darin ein. Ich war und bin sehr zufrieden. Das Material ist sehr elastisch und dünn und ich glaube man sollte es vorher auf jeden fall ein paar mal geübt haben oder Erfahrungen beim tragetuch binden haben. Ich finde für ab und zu mal benutzen ist dieses tuch den Kauf absolut wert und man hat sich nicht in Unkosten gestürzt.

I have cloth versions of this wrap that are too warm in the summer. This one is perfect for hot weather. I can’t wait to try it in the pool!

The fabric is so soft that it kept sliding one over the other and undoing the wrap, I sent it back because I didn't see it safe.
