Comfortable and Roomy
The memory foam is extremely comfortable on my legs, I have plenty of room for both my 17" laptop and my gaming mouse, and the quality of the surface is fantastic (I have the wood finish).I sometimes use the light, but mostly have been keeping it slid into the little sleeve/compartment on the back out of the way. The light operates on four AA batteries (not included) and is not too bright, but not too dim. It would be really nice to use as a reading light for reading, journaling, writing, etc. in the evenings.I also use this desk to watch Skillshare videos on my tablet (with the tablet placed in the slot at the top of the desk), while taking notes on the desk itself. Again, plenty of room for everything I need to enjoy my online courses. The desk is also very lightweight (I expected it to be much heavier) and so far appears to be made of quality materials.Overall, this is one of my favorite purchases I've made lately. Not only do I recommend this product, I will be buying the black glittery one for my wife very soon!

Top notch lap desk!
I couldn’t be happier with this. I have found multiple purposes for it, using it as a desk for reading, diamond painting, even having lunch on it. It is the largest one and I’m so glad I ordered it. The first one I received was damaged but contacted the seller and they quickly sent another. I don’t know what I did without this Very very lightweight yet sturdy and comfortable in my lap.

Well built laptop table, a few problems, but nothing super major.
This table is well constructed, very comfy. I decided to buy the wood-grain version of this desk, and the grain looks real. On the area near the switch, you can store the light itself. The wrist rest isn't removable, but isn't too high - good for laptops with a thinner tickness and for writing. The light is well made, but I don't know how durable it is. I had to rotate the light part, from the body, to work with the USB input which isn't a good thing for the durability.I bought this device because I wanted a nice, large, writing surface so I can have essentially a table when I'm sitting outside or at a campsite. I haven't used it much yet, and plan to write more about my experiences as time goes on, but it looks like it'll meet my needs well. Not everything is fantastic, though, so I wanted to outline the problems with this table, or things I'd like to see them improve upon.1) The IPAD/Tablet holder is a nice idea, and it fits a tablet quite well. The problem with it is the balance of the board after putting something in it. With a tablet in it, the whole pad becomes very forward-heavy. If you lift up both arms, it will forward. This actually is quite a bad design oversight, because it's essentially a bit forward-heavy given the construction by default. This just makes that much worse. Ideally, the company should have added some denser foam or some kinda weight to center the weight closer to the wrist, that way you can store something like a tablet only, and it won't fall.2) The tag on the back. This probably won't bother most people, but it bugs me. You have to either cut, or rip it off. both which won't totally remove the tag. The tag is white, the pad is black. As you can probably guess, no matter what you do, it's going to remain at least a little. It's incredibly annoying, at least for me, who wants something that's very uniform in color. So, change the tag to black with white lettering, or better yet, don't include the tag and have it as one of the instruction pages. Or if that's not possible, stitch the tag very loosely, so it can all be pulled out.3) The battery compartment really should have padding around it. I get the sense that there's no padding around it, because it clunks when grabbing that area of the pad. Not a super major thing, but would be nice to fix. Furthermore, an enclosed battery compartment would be nicer than the more open design of the current one. Primarily if this gets bumped a bit, the batteries can fall out. I'll probably secure it with a rubber band.I'll probably update this again when I get more of a feel on how long that light will last.

It’s ok.
I wanted one of these with the little micro form balls in it. But suddenly none were available. Now all of these seem to have a sheet of memory form in them. Which compresses rather quickly and re- expands slowly. Leaving you waiting for the memory form to refill every time you move. It’s ok, but I would much rather have the micro form balls for a more instant change in shape and height when you move.

Classy lap desk!
While pricey, I love everything about this lapdesk! It’s sturdy and looks expensive. The light works surprisingly well, though I feel like I have to be very gentle assembling it so that I don’t ruin the connections. It’s very comfortable on the lap. Useful for working in bed or on the sofa/recliner.

Exactly What I Needed
This lap desk is perfect for big guys!As a 6'8" guy, the previous lap desk I owned was too small and did not fit in my lap well. This lap desk allows you to write on a sheet of paper without the pencil gap interfering at all.The pad on the bottom is soft enough to be comfortable but sturdy enough one to do work.

Great item, padding is nice and soft
Great item, padding is nice and soft, no sliding on lap, fits my 17" laptop perfectly, light is just the right brightness, I knew the light is USB so it plugs into any USB port, I didn't realize the USB port on the lap desk was also battery powered, which is awesome. not heavy at all, now my computer gets the cooling it needs, Great product!

Not Worth The Price...
The only aspect of this lap desk, is the faux wood top. Everything else is sub par, especially for the price.
