Denso 197-6020 Mass Air Flow Sensor, Regular

As far as I can tell this is an OE part. It fixed my check engine light, improved my MPG, and has been working reliably for several months now. I am really happy with this purchase and saved a ton of money by not going to the dealer for their parts.

I order this to replace old dying oem mass air flow sensor. It works great after replacing with the brand new denso mass airflow sensor.

Had rough idle on my car and after cleaning my original MAF saw a huge difference in idle and no more hesitation while accelerating on my Mazda 5. It came back again so instead of just cleaning it out again I bought a new one.The reason this part fails is due to excess carbon on the air intake. You need to clean out your throttle body too, otherwise you risk premature failure on the new MAF.I cleaned out the throttle body, replaced the MAF, then reset the ECU, relearned the idle and the car has been running strong almost like new again. This is great as I thought I had a transmission issue.It's just two screws and a wire, so very easy to do if you just want to replace the MAF. I ended up losing one of my screws, so be careful when you remove it, as it's just housed in plastic.I'll probably end up cleaning the throttle body more often on this car in hopes I don't have to buy another MAF.

Was not made in Japan! Return and repurchase, works without issue. For d price, not bad!
