I just got these so I have only taken them for 3 days. I will update. What I do want to say is never never take without food. I took 1 the first day, 2 the second day and back to 1 on the third day. All 3 days I had the back door trots (an old saying). Will continue to take and see if my system gets accustomed to them or if they help woth my shoulder pain at all. I have my doubts. Ok, they actually have helped my joints feel better but here is What I have since found out since I started taking them. Another review on here someone said something about cancer. If you look up on Wikipedia about this supplement you will find that This supplement Can contribute significantly to cell proliferation And migration and is involved in the progression of malignant tumors. So what if you didn’t know if you had a malignant tumor. You would be feeding it and I’m not willing to take that chance. There are actually many supplements like DHEA that can also speed in the progression of malignancies. I have had an atypical tumor in my breast which I had removed and my husband also had a malignancy on his back so even though we don’t have those now does not mean we might not be feeding it if we take these. I’m sure the product is great for some things as I have not had an issue with dry eyes since I started taking it but not willing to chance it.

I started taking a 100mg of Hyaluronic Acid daily about 3 months ago. I felt the difference the first week! Getting out of bed was so much easier. No soreness after my workouts or a long day of gardening or cleaning the house. I'm 66 years old, retired and very active. I downhill ski, paddle board, hike and workout at the gym 3 days a week, along with yoga 2 days a week. I eat fairly healthy and consider myself in good health. I will continue to take this supplement for the rest of my life. It makes me feel amazing.

I got this Amazing Formulas Hyaluronic Acid to see if it provides any benefits for my joint pain and inflammation. I know it has been used in by injection route in knees to relieve pain by replacing some cushioning in the joint so I thought I’d give it a try by oral route. I’ve tried other supplements like Glucosamine and Chondroitin, turmeric, and turmeric with ginger but those haven’t seemed to help much. I read that hyaluronic acid helps by retaining water thereby “lubricating” the joints. I did find one out of the 120 capsules in the bottle empty. I have been taking 2 capsules (200 mg) per day and have not felt any remarkable improvement yet in the ten days I have been taking them, but I’ll continue and update this post after a month.

I have not used this product yet, due to using remainder of another product before starting this. I am happy to have found a product with 100mg of hyaluronic acid (HA) per capsule, for a reasonable price, and without other ingredients usually included with HA for skin and/or joint support that I do not want to pay for along with the HA. I am taking this for my eyes, after having a retinal hemorrhage, though fortunately without retinal tearing or detachment. The retinal hemorrhage, tear or detachment, in this case, likely happened due to age related shrinking of the vitreous body, the gel substance in the large chamber of the eyeball. That gel is mostly hyaluronic acid and water. As we age the gel begins to lose water content and shrinks, as things do when they become less hydrated. This can cause pulling on the retina where the gel attaches to the retina. In a near-sighted eyeball, which is elongated or oval shaped, the effect of the dehydration and shrinking can be more pronounced, as was the case in my eye, the more near-sighted of the two. I have not been able to find any research (in EntrezPubMed, the NIH medical research database) about use of HA to improve or slow the dehydration effect of the vitreous gel, but since the greatest concentration of HA in the body is the vitreous, and my eyesight is extremely important to me, I think it is worth taking the HA to possibly increase the amount of HA in the eye. As for evaluating the benefit of the product for my purpose, that would take some doing by an ophthalmologist. specializing in retinal and vitreous conditions. In the event that happens, I will try to update my review of the product accordingly. Again, I appreciate the availability of the single-substance capsules of hyaluronic acid, with out the usual other ingredients, at a reasonable price. This is the reason for my five star rating.
