The material is not at all as advertised. I specifically ordered a lighter / cotton pillow as I get hot at night but this is more of a fake velvet material.

I’m not pregnant. I am, however, fat, lonely, and prone to chronic pain (totally unrelated, I’m sure). I ordered this pillow in hopes it would help me sleep despite chronic depression, crippling anxiety induced insomnia. (Im a joy to be with, really). I am 5’9 and did not feel as though the pillow wasn’t large enough to accommodate my large body (My belly fat goes where the baby bump would go and the pillow is none the wiser). I like the curve in it and the versatility. It’s soft and comfortable but not too soft (beat it Goldilocks). I like using it when I’m sitting up, and wrapping the “legs/arms” around me. Once I figure out how to make it warm, I can pretend I’m being hugged. I appreciate being able to take the cover off to wash it and that you can remove or add stuffing to your liking. The zipper is sturdy, it works in all of the sleep positions that I end up in as I toss and turn on the foam mattress that promised it was “fat friendly”. It’s also really comforting when I lie on the floor and pretend all is well in the world. Worth the money you were going to spend on podcast equipment. You don’t need a podcast, you need sleep.

I got the light grey jersey version. I am not pregnant but I slide sleep all the time and my hand tends to come under my head or above my head, and love to hug pillows while I sleep. I keep a pillow between my legs and/or in my arms, so to me this is a great pillow. It helps keep my arm under the pillow verses normal pillows where my hand/arms finds it its way directly under my head. I hate waking up with my arm feeling dead and numb haha so this definitely helps. Anyways I threw mine in the washer & dryer and it fluffed it up a bit. So it made it much better than how it was coming out the packaging. Overall so far so good. In time if it needs to be refilled or fluffed I’d just say throw it in the washer and dryer. Why I didn’t give a 5 star? Well I think it could use a bit more filling in certain places? But that’s easily fixable, I can always go to the walmart or a craft store to get extra filling, so I’m okay with that.

TL;DR - We've tried 2 of these & found them lumpy, poorly sewn, & the stuffing moves too much to be supportive through a night's sleep. ******* I bought two of these pillows. My SO has chronic pain, and this seemed like one of the best options on Amazon. We followed the "fluffing" instructions and I washed the covers before use. Pros: - Flexible and easy to position for awake/sitting comfort while reading, watching TV, etc. - Removable outer cover for easy washing - Zipped inner cover for stuffing access (add/remove) Cons: - Stuffing moves away from pressure points, leaving divets where you most needed support. - Lumpy - Requires additional stuffing and/or a thin foam pillow underneath for head support. - Weak stitching on inner pillowcase. Mine had a hole on delivery (see pic), but I couldn't return it as I didn't discover it until I was putting the washed outer cover back on it. - Definitely not a cooling pillow; it will reflect your heat back on you all night long. - Weak zippers - use very carefully to avoid breaking - Tag is sewn into the top (head) of the pillow so that even cutting it as close as possible, you are left with a stiff, raw edge that is not a nice surprise while sleeping. Neutral: - Due to the design, it's highly likely one of the pillow "limbs" will flop over the side of the bed during the night, and you'll have to pull it back on and reposition it.
