Colour Mill Oil-Based Food Coloring, 20 Milliliters Black

This was my daughter’s (our family’s designated baker of all things sweet!) first time using this and it colored the white almond bark for both her cake pops and pretzels beautifully! I was taken aback by the tiny bottle for the price but a little went a very long way!

Gift for my daughter. She loves how the color stands out and mixes well.

When I ordered, the product was lost. The seller was so nice to respond fast and have a solution. She sent a new order. The paquet arrived just in a few days and very well condition. The gel is good quality and beautiful colors. My wife will order more colors.

This is the perfect dusty blue! Easy to work with! Didn’t need much to get the color. It was a bit smaller than I thought it would be but there is still a lot left!

Colors are vibrant and they were packaged well. A little pricey but worth the purchase due to the quality of the product.

This is a good product because I have used it in the past. However, I ordered the lavender and yesterday it came without a lid. The seal was intact but I can’t use it without a lid to put on after the seal comes off. It wasn’t in the shipping box etc.

You don’t really need more than these colors to create more! They work so well! Just be careful with dripping! Have a paper towel handy to wipe the drip.

I used this to color chocolate melts for cake pops. For the jack-o-lanterns jn my pic, I used white chocolate with the orange coloring. I did have to use about half of the small bottle to get the color as dark as I wanted (see third pic has lighter orange but I wanted the pumpkins brighter. It did not seem to have any negative impacts on the chocolate and it still set well. I made a bit of green for the leaves. For the face, I used dark chocolate and added some of the black coloring. It probably would have looked more grey than black if i had used white chocolate (or would have taken a lot of the bottle). I would have given 5 stars except it’s a bit pricey for small bottles but i did end up making the colors I wanted. I would buy again— especially if it goes on sale!

This oil based food colouring is great itself, but unfortunately has been shipped incomplete because of missing closing lid. Disappointed with Amazon employee who packed it.

J’ai utilisé le colorant alimentaire Colour Mill Hot Pink (20 ml) pour teinter de la crème mousseline destinée à réaliser un rosace cake en dégradé de rose. La couleur obtenue est un très joli pastel, lumineux et uniforme, parfait pour une finition élégante. Il suffit de très peu de produit pour obtenir un bon rendu, ce qui le rend économique à l’usage. Aucun goût parasite n’est perceptible, ce qui est idéal pour ne pas altérer les saveurs du dessert. La date limite de consommation est longue, ce qui permet de le conserver sans souci. Un excellent colorant : efficace, discret en goût et très esthétique.

Love the Instagramer that introduced me to these. Total game changer. Only thing I would say is that if they aren’t mixed well enough into the chocolate or whatever base you’re using it can bleed into the the person eating the treat.

Great colouring. Used with white chocolate.
