Ok. This started as a joke, but actually became necessary. I had knee surgery. My partner went OCD doing things to prepare. I got 3 bells. One livingroom, which is open to the dining room. One in bedroom & another in the bath, in back. When I needed help, temporary, I rang & he knew he was needed & came. Loud enough to be heard. Sturdy, well made. The weight isn't heavy. There are various sizes, I'm happy with this size.

I rang it for tea, soup, pillow adjustments, bathroom assistance, emotional reassurance. Never missed a beat. My husband came running every time like it was a five-alarm emergency. Phenomenal response rate. Post-recovery, I realized this bell held too much power to be left unattended. For everyone’s safety, I hid it in a top-secret location behind the ketchup in the fridge so it wouldn’t fall into my husband’s hands. Don’t need him getting any ideas. Highly recommend. Just… use responsibly.

I ordered it for getting the attention of my caregiver when I needed help after postop knee replacement. A great quality product for someone who would use it more often. A good size, and the volume is high enough to get someone's attention.
