The texture stands out without the keys being raised making the keys perfect for gaming. Just what I wanted, and very solid!

They're alright. Mine were a bit rough feeling on the bottom

These key caps don't have any kind of plastic over or under the lettering to diffuse the lighting so that the letter on the key glows nicely. It's just a plain cut out in the key cap, so instead of a nicely glowing letter, you instead can see the actual backlight bulb through the engraving. When looking down at the keys you can't even read the letters on them. All you see is the bright, shining, bulb, under the key cap.
