The book itself is very good. If you want just one book to highlight everything about the Peanuts gang, this should be it. It has a history of Schulz himself, the various stages of Peanuts through the years, with individual character development. Indeed, it earns the title of being a 'visual history'. However, my purchase was marred by poor effort in simply packing the book properly. With only a single layer bubble-sheet large envelope, it was obviously subject to the typical postal cycle, resulting in dents and damaged edges. If you're presenting this wonderful book as a gift, be forewarned. 5 stars to the book only. 1 star to this third-party seller. I was actually expecting it to arrive in the usual Amazon box with all its usually great bubble-pillows and protection. But alas.
