My god these things are loud I originally bought two for my grandkids to annoy their parents and decided to by another to keep on my boat.

This whistle is everything it says it is and more. Works great for spotters of heavy equipment when radios are not working correctly due to Wifi issues. Loud enough for Operators running heavy machinery to hear it! Great product!

This whistle requires too much wind to blow it. If you are lost and blow it all day it will wear you out. I prefer a smaller whistle that is easier to blow. I thought this might be a good emergency whistle and it's better than nothing and better than many but for 12 bucks you can get 10 great loud whistles that are better, I am retired search and recue volunteer and every member of your party should have their own whistle. I have been on many searches where a good loud whistle would likely have saved their lives. But you don't want to be dizzy from blowing it and fall off a cliff. I'm torn between 3 or 4 stars.

Make sure you block your ears tight! Donnie inside. We have brought these for camping out Wesr they can be heard 2 miles plus depending on where you are. Super loud! Can wait to use them!!

So, I found out while directing traffic that a blue suited police officer with a BRIGHT fluorescent green vest with reflective “POLICE” on the front and back that is standing in the road is invisible to most drivers and pedestrians. However, everyone was able to see me when I blew this whistle. I scoffed at needing a whistle before I used it. It is one of the best low cost pieces of gear that I have in my unit.

This was purchased for our grandkids, they took it on a beach vacation. It is a great item for our peace of mind.
