AtlasGLV26 772 Large Nitrile Chemical Resistant Gloves, 25", Yellow, 1-Pair

I got these for cleanup work at a local wildlife rehab. I could go with medical-style nitrile gloves for cleanup but so much there needs to be washed, and because so much of the work is cleanup and sanitizing, we use a lot of bleach.I had tried several 'prettier' and more flexible styles of gloves- these look (and are) very rugged and industrial. BUT- what surprised me- all the other gloves I've used, even when heavy duty, or 'over the elbow' and with elastic- all leaked or got water splashed in within an hour or so. And we use clorine plunge buckets to disinfect, so I wanted gloves I could plunge my arms deep into the bleach-bucket to retrieve the dishes in it.These were great JUST for dishwashing, they ARE a bit heavier (so less 'touch sensitive') but I am able to do all the cleaning (mopping, dishwashing, lifting, grabbing) etc that I need to do- they are moderatly heat and cold resistant (not for extremes. Just, they make washing in hot water or ice cold, more comfortable) and (drumroll)THEY KEEP MY HANDS DRY AND AWAY FROM ANY BLEACH or other chemicals! They have worked 100% dry on the inside, for weeks and weeks of use of all kinds (wringing mops, cleaning animal carriers which have catchy metal parts, digging around in bleach and other sterilizer chemical buckets...)..AND - they work better than any of the MANY other over the elbow and elastic and 'heavy duty' and etc gloves I have tried.Also, what I do is not 'huge industrial chemical factory'- I thought these might be overkill for the dish and mop and cleaning I was doing. But, no- they ARE rugged, but they are flexible enough to use for regular chores and FINALLY-- Dry Hands, for days, even while doing all sorts of scrubbing, plunging and spray-cleaning!

I saw a beekeeper's video about the best gloves he'd found for working with bees. My husband is also a beekeeper, so I showed him the video. He thought these gloves were worth a try, so I ordered two sizes. He likes these gloves (they're long and waterproof/resistant - I'm not sure), but the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because he said they are HOT. The video also mentioned that, but since the benefits outweigh the discomfort, my husband has continued wearing them while working with the bees.

I like the fact i can really work in my pond and not get my arms wet nor dirty! Also, they are lined so they are fairly warm in 40 degree water!

They really fit goodThey have a kind of granular surface for excellent no slip gripping.Extremely easy to put on and take off.They are toughThey do not fall down your arm and bunch up.There are grommets at the end of the sleeve if you want to hang them on a hook.I use them for cleaning with bleach & detergent.Two years and going strong - very good product

Heads-up, this review is mainly based upon how well they met my needs as an inner-glove for handling and processing SLA resin for 3D printing.Pros:1. Good elastic, firmly keeps cuff of glove just above my biceps, and does not slip. I am 6'3", if I were any taller, I could see slippage being a potential issue.2. Plastic grommets are included in the cuffs, so you can easily hang these up after use.3. Manual dexterity is good.Nitrile coating appears very even, no signs of cracking/creasing in and around fingers, like many gloves have.4. Cotton lining makes it somewhat easy to put on.Cons:1. VERY STICKY. I bought these to use as an inner glove under a Polyethylene outer glove (nitrile has some resistance to Acrylate Monomers, but only a few minutes at best, Polyethylene "lunch lady gloves" are basically the only commonly-available PPE that the chemicals in SLA resin will not penetrate (or shouldn't within the time it takes to handle and clean uncured prints). Even using water as a "wet interphase" (rinsing gloves before putting on the outer), these gloves are far too sticky to easily allow that.2. Can't wash. Instuctions for these gloves advise against washing, stating "performance levels cannot be guaranteed after washing". Since my main usage for these gloves is a semi-resistant inner layer, should the Polyethylene gloves rip, being able to wash them is basically essential. Also, I'm not sure if using water as a "wet interphase" counts as washing, but it's the only way I was able to get another glove over these.3. Light sensitive. Instructions state "store in a dry place, away from light". If I can't wash these gloves, the only way to mitigate the risk from the resin is to hit them with UV light, so that it polymerizes and becomes inert.4. Somewhat tight. I measured my hands before ordering these, and got the right size, but even with the cotton lining, they do require a bit of wiggling to get over your hands and fingers. It's not bad, exactly, but I have tendonitis, and I could see it being painful for someone with arthritis, etc..5. Not very resistant to Methanol/shouldn't be used with American formulations of Denatured Alcohol. This is more of an issue with Nitrile in general, but since lots of folks use Denatured Alcohol to clean their 3D prints, I thought it was worth mentioning that resin-saturated Denatured Alcohol will quickly dissolve through the gloves and into your skin, if these gloves are your only means of protection.Conclusion:I can see these gloves being excellent for a lot of use-cases, but they definitely fall into the 'heavy disposable' range of PPE. For the price, they are probably worth it, but be mindful that they are an imperfect solution for anyone handling SLA resins, harsh chemicals, or solvents.

Great gloves for working with cleaning products. Soft inside, keeps you completely dry and free from chemicals on your hands up to your elbows. Has a nice texture on the fingers so things don’t slip out of your hands. Elastics on the ends keep the gloves from sliding down your arm. I would definitely recommend these.

Got these so that I could wash my large dog with flea shampoo and not worry about exposure to the chemicals. They worked great! The arms came up above my elbows and even with slightly damp hands I was able to easily get them into the gloves due to the cotton lining. The protective coating feels extremely strong yet dextrous enough that I was able to rub my dog's fur and get into nooks and crannies easily. The hands of the gloves are textured which helps with grip when wet and also really helped me scrub my dog's fur I think. Great product, great price. I expect these will last a long time.

I am an avid gardener and these gloves are a must for protecting my hands and arms. After a while, they start to smell a little sweaty, so I turn them inside out and thow them in the wash. Air Dry.

These gloves have been great for maintaining my aquarium while keeping my hands dry and clean. Harmful bacteria can grow in aquariums, and I make sure to always use these gloves if I have any cut on my hands.

Perfect just what was needed. Using them to work in a reef tank. No seams for water to work through and thin enough to still have dexterity to grab small frag plugs. Read some issues about the hole up top, well just be aware of it or roate it to the top of your arm. Could also fill with a little caulking if it's that big of a deal. But def better than other options out there

I use these when I wash the car, what i never realized is that they keep my hands warm in the cold weather, so no more freezing hands when the temperatures cool down. They have a little hanger hole on them that makes drying them a....breeze.
