I'm really careful about dosages, and don't like that most supplements give too much. With this liquid I can monitor my dosage perfectly. I put 3 drops into my juice in the morning (don't even notice it in my drink) and feel an improvement in energy, mood, and motivation to do things within 10 minutes. I'm considering giving up caffeine because of this. How I broke down the dosages: 100 mg per 1/2 tsp. I broke this down to drops, because the RDA (which can be considered a minimum to prevent problems) is about 1-2 mg a day. There are about 50 drops in 1/2 tsp, and so 50 drops = 100 mg. So, 1 drop = 2mg. I want to take 6 mg a day, so I take 3 drops a day. I use a stainless steel straw and dip it into the bottle, then shake 3 drops into my drink. Works well for me (more alertness in the morning). I am going to buy a glass eye-dropper soon to use. It should fit on the bottle instead of the lid. 56 and female and menopause takes a lot out of a person. I also had lots of nausea with my pregnancies (decades ago, of course), and wish it was known this can help, because I suspect it could have helped me given how well I'm responding to it now. I have taken B vitamin supplements in the past, but felt the dosages were just too high, so have switched to doses of B vitamins I can better control. Dr. Ray Sahelian is a good resource on keeping doses low and mind boosting supplements.

Carlson is always a quality product, so I expected and received just that. I seem to do better taking liquids and powders versus pills and I seem to benefit greater as well. This is why when my Doc said I need some vitamin B6, I went to liquid and you will certainly FEEL the benefits versus wondering IF you do by taking the tablets. With pills, I think it's harder on your system, which tries to break them down, then digest it, then get net benefit, and usually all you see from it is the bright colored urine?? The B vitamins usually make me nauseous if I don't balance taking them with food, so I have often given up on taking them. I think you will enjoy this product. If you are a person who takes your healthy Nasty Liquids, just add this to your regimen, and get your nasty cocktail regimen out of the way at once. I take a codliver oil, Vitamin D3, and some others and maybe put it/or them in a shot glass and get it out of the way. BTW, if you make yourself smoothies or even Green smoothies, and think you can add it to the smoothie in your blender, I tried it and didn't like it, so I stay with the morning shot glass routine. If you're looking for it to taste good; or not to taste bad - good luck. This isn't Gummy Bears. So, expect it to taste nasty. I keep a piece of juicy, yummy fresh fruit ready to grab and eat as soon as I'm done: pineapple chuncks, grapefruit or tangerine pieces, or something fresh - maybe a tart apple. I will buy again, just not anytime soon based on my budget and trying to finish up other supplements. But, I will buy again. If you're achey, tired, stressed, lacking in good sleep, depressed, anxious, jittery, can't think straight, maybe B vitamins are a good thing for you to try and if so, give yourself the 'straight shot' and try a (quality) liquid such as this one.

This B-6 supplement is also gentle on the stomach, which is a big plus for me. The taste is mild and not overpowering, making it easy to take. Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to support their nervous system and boost their vitamin B-6 intake!

When my son was given Keppra for his seizures, his doctor also recommended that we add 100mg of B6 to his daily diet to help with the mood swings that can be caused by the medication. Since my son is only 4, he can't swallow regular supplement pill. Once we were able to get the liquid B6 into his diet, he's been much better behaved. Also - we can add it to his milk or juice and he doesn't even notice a difference in taste. (I've tried it myself, no flavor change at all). High recommendation.

We have a child with a rare epilepsy (PDE), which requires high doses of vit B6 to prevent intractable seizures and progressive brain damage (I found out about this product from other families with kids with the same condition). Until now, we've had to crush multiple vit B6 tablets each day to dissolve in water, which we then push down her g-tube (which clogs frequently as a result). With this product, it's so concentrated that she only needs one syringe of it morning and evening. This concentrated liquid form is so much easier! There is no comparable prescription option like this other than using a compounding pharmacy. The only downside is there is not enough to see us through a full month. I hope we can transition to oral administration in time. I see from the reviews that it doesn't taste good, which is a pity. It's otherwise the best product available for kids like ours.
