Bought for a ceilng mounted heavy bag.Haven't used this spring yet, as my bag is only 20 kg / 44 lbs & this spring was to stiff for that weight.I opted for a lighter spring so it would function on the 20kg, 4 x 1.5 ft, bag .These 250 lb rated springs appear strong enough for the advertised load & therefore more adequate for heavier bags.2 of these springs would be ideal on a large or heavy use hammock.

Used this to attach boxing bag to my pull up bar after I saw a YouTube vid recommending this to take the movement impact off the pull up bar. I must say, it's definitely worked well and my pull up bar has not moved from its fixed position at all. I recommend 👌

The media could not be loaded.  The way I've installed my punch bag is using a cross section of 2x3" stud across the top of the roof trusses (not recommended).I was getting lots of vibrations as the shock from the punches was rattling the entire garage structure.This simple spring has elevated all my problems I was encountering without me having to over-engineer something a lot more substantial! Excellent.Definitely recommend if you're got a similar issue.

Wanted to make my heavy bag (50kg) a bit quieter. This spring has really helped, it has taken alot of the shock and swing out of the bag which has also reduced the overall noise

Robust, just enough give in it for my use.

I bought 10+ and 3 broke so I was forced to replace all. They arent good
