Le Phare du Cap BonHarissa Hot Sauce - 140 gram tube

I never thought in the past years that I will found Harissa hot sauce on Amazon ! but I did !. This brand is a well known hot sauce in European countries and Northern Africa. Unfortunately the Amazon's seller of this hot sauce doesn't know how to pack the stuff he sells. The hot sauce tube in its little original cartoon box was just put inside a big plastic enveloppe... fortunately this seller doesn't sell "eggs". Anyway... we can't fix stupid... and I got my hot sauce.

I liked this harissa better than some other brands I've tried. It has a good flavor and a fairly mild heat.

I use it for my chickpea curry. It's better than expected. I eat chickpea curry every week, and if it wasn't spicy, I'd use it in every batch. But I do use it every other week. Great stuff, easy to use in the tube.

My husband makes the best couscous and his go to spice is Le Phare du Cap Bon - Harissa Hot Sauce. He gives the tubes as gifts to my daughters every year for Christmas.

I seriously HAVE to have this harissa in my possession! Nothing like it to spice up hummus, potatoes—whatever I’m eating that needs a little kick. The tube makes it easy to dispense the just-right amount. Thanks, Amazon, for carrying this amazing product—saves me the 50-mile drive to my nearest Middle Eastern grocery store!
