Mikasa French Countryside Cereal Bowl, 7-Inch, Set of 4, White - F9000-421

My wife is pleased that they match our other dishes perfectly our old bowls were chipped and she has OCD !

It’s very pretty, but considering the shape of the glaze, I am not sure I would want to use it for beverages. It’s nice as a vase though.

It worked really well and is so attractive with the Hydrangeas.So please how well it fit into my setting on my living room table.

I only use this decoratively, on my dining table with eucalyptus in it. Very simple and pretty centerpiece.

This pitcher is just what I wanted for a flower arrangement .

I got a set of Mikasa Antique White dinnerware, but their bowls are too huge and deep. I research and find that Mikasa French Countryside has very similar patterns and I thought I'd give it a try. What a pleasant surprise! First, they DO match with Antique White in terms of color and pattern. Second, the bowls are very well made with quality material and texture. Most of all, the size and shape are perfect. They are generous and stylish. They are perfect for cereal, salad, snack, and as Chinese rice bowls. I remember 30 years ago when few dinnerware has "bowls", now they do but many are of weird shapes. French Countryside bowls are the rare exception. I got 8 of them and I am very very happy :)

This ewer, as an object in and of itself, is beautiful design and construction, for which it would earn five full stars - easily. I love it and enjoy using it many times daily. However, the implied inclusion of it into the Mikasa French Countryside settings (mine are antique white) is not appropriate and the ewer is not a match for the color of the settings. The color difference isn't radical but it is noticeable. It's not a sore thumb, it's a minor contrast with the ewer being slightly more yellowish than the antique white. In candle light it's not really noticeable. If you are really insistent about having a perfect match this isn't it. For me the slight deviation isn't that big a deal.

It’s much better than the Italian country style one. Unlike the (Mikasa) Italian country bowls, these are thicker- less likely to crack, has a good weight, doesn’t get hot in the microwave and it’s a good size. Overall I was very pleased with these that I ordered another set.

The pitcher is a good quality product and is very nice looking. The only problem is that it's not really white. It has a yellowish tint even though it is advertised as white. The picture on Amazon shows a white pitcher as well as the picture on the box when i received it.

I love this pitcher although it is more on the cream side with a very, very slight green tinge. I still like it.
