Only purple shampoo that truly acts like a toner. I gave 4 stars because it can turn hair purple but I will say that typically only happens if you use it too often. (I have been using this brand and this shampoo for many years so this I know happens when I use it every wash vs. Every couple of washes)

Love this brand cause it works very well. Definitely smaller sized for the price but nice to have a few washes to get the brassy out.

Good product cleans well n no yellow in white hair

I dont know what I am doing wrong.. but probably user error. But here we go. I went from black and maroon hair to blonde hair. Its been a process. A year total so far. My hair dresser told me to use this . But everytime I used this ( 2 times a week) each time I feel like it added for copper. Never pulled out the copper. I add the bleach in now at home so im spening an arm and a leg each visit anymore. Plus I am hoping the healthiness withh get better and hopefully my hair starts getting length back. Moisture level on this is 0. It didnt work for me again could be a user error. But quality for me wasn't what I needed. Lasts a long time especially when u dont use every wash. If u get it in sale it a great valur for the money.

Ok so I know everyone is always so unsure which way to go with these things and how to use them so here's the synopsis. The picture with the dark hair is before the chop and dye. 7 months, 2 bleach kits, 2 blonde hair dyes, and a pair of scissors later you have the picture with the face mask. (Its not going to happen overnight). I cut off most of what I wanted before I bleached the first time, and trimmed up a little after. During all this I tried a few purple poos and this is my favorite. I apply it to my hair dry and leave it for 30 min to an hour...now this shampoo is great but leaving it on that long WILL make your hair DRY. So be prepared to condition. And good. If just using it for a few minutes like the bottle says, it leaves hair soft. Joico smells good and is awesome at toning. I use it once every week or two depending on how I feel. (NOTE): IT WILL STAIN YOUR FINGERNAILS SO USE GLOVES. It wiped of the rest of my skin fine. As you can see in the other picture my hair has a silvery tone to it. It will vary depending on hair before and how long you leave it setting for. It helps take my hair where color/bleach just doesn't want to. Hope this helps.

Does not leave your hair with a violet tint like some others . Love it , well worth the money .
