That said, you WILL break the hinge (a screw embedded in the wood). It would be even better if they used magnets on both the hinge and latch side. It might even be cheaper to produce as they wouldn't need to drill and fit the cover for the screw. I'll be buying my third copy soon!

This wood salt cellar is great. The wood is smooth and a nice colour, the lid swivels easily and stays put when closed, and it’s a perfect size for my needs. I’d buy it again for myself, or as a gift.

I needed a container to hold kosher salt for when I cook, and this was perfect. The lid makes it easily accessible. The container itself was crack free and looked great. I washed it with mild soap and warm water before use (as you should do with any new item that will come in contact with food), and it's been great ever since. I'd imagine it'd be good for other granular spices or things, like sugar.
