TritonProducts 71313 DuraHook 2-1/2-Inch Single Rod 30 Degree Bend 3/16-Inch Diameter Zinc Plated Steel Pegboard Hook for DuraBoard or 1/8 Inch and 1/4 Inch Pegboard, 10-Pack

I ordered these hooks a few months ago - and just got around to trying them. THEY DON'T WORK! The screws are the SAME size as the holes in 1/4" pegboard - so they don't screw in - they just slide in (and right back out) - and therefore don't hold the hook in place. The hooks without something to hold them into the pegboard are USELESS! When I reached out the company - I got the standard answer - "Sorry, can't help you - you bought them over 30 days ago". Gee, great customer service - NOT! Again, these hooks are useless - don't buy them.

I have at least 400 1/4" hooks in 2 shops. Every time I grab a tool and the hook comes with it, I swear to make a change. I've been to cheap to replace all the hooks, some are probably 50 years old. After trying the DuraHooks I've changed my mind and will start ordering a couple of packs every month to replace often used hook locations. I especially like the screwdriver & pliers hooks that allow a slight lift up and then pull the tool straight out rather than have to lift it free of a hoop. They are rock solid when replacing or removing tools.

This is the best pegboard system I have ever found.It works as advertised with 1/8" and 1/4" pegboards, but for heavy things (drills, hammers) 1/4" pegboard is really needed to provide the proper support for that weight.I have zero complaints on this whole system.

I love all the Triton products I bought for my pegboard. They are built well, stronger than others, and the unique screw system makes them more secure than other pegboard hooks. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is because of the screws. They wouldn't stay in the pegboard. Kept falling out. So I searched through my extra screws and came up with some the exact same size that worked great. The difference is the screws that came with the product are rounded and the ones I found that work are totally flat topped. Don't know why that makes a difference but it's the difference between success and failure. So now I have to spend more money to go buy more of these flat top screws.

These are great additions to any pegboard. I like that they screw into place and are sturdy, rather than the smaller attachments that just fit loosely in the holes. I use both, but I use this in particular to secure the heavier items and power equipment. They hold up very well and are easy to install. Have ordered 3 sets so far and have not been disappointed.
