Vintage Toccasana Shaving Gift Set

I had tried and failed a couple of times over the years to use a safety razor. I assumed it was the blade and the me not shaving well ( a fair bit of truth in the latter ), however I also realised the products I was using weren’t suitable for my skin. After deciding to start up again recently ( tired of my lame excuse of a beard) , I started with another brand that rhymes with the fart of Baving. Unfortunately I still developed razor bumps, and was about to give up again. The last roll of the dice was this Proraso set for sensitive skin. And I finally won. Using all 3 products , with a double edged safety razor ( feather blades), I have overcome most of the adversity I was facing. Definitely recommend. I must point out that before I use the after shave balm I use an alum block, and after I use the balm, I then moisturise with some L’Oreal product my wife asked me to try. It’s great. Hydrating genius or something like that. This combination of 4 products ( 5 if you include the alum block) work for me 100%.

The presentation is so fancy and looks more expensive than it actually costs which makes for the perfect gift. The product itself is amazing, Ive been really enjoying the routine and its perfect for my sensitive skin. The pre shave has really helped with reducing nicks and cuts, and the lotion keeps my face and neck hydrated.

Tenía experiencia con el jabón y el aftershave. En el caso del preshave, he leído comentarios respecto a que no sienten diferencia al usarlo. En mi caso fue muy notable la diferencia al usar el preshave, normalmente duele al rasurar la zona del cuello y esta vez fue como si casi no sintiera, y tampoco hubo irritación después. El jabón hace espuma fácilmente (recomiendo remojar la brocha 5 minutos antes de hacer espuma) cumple perfectamente con su propósito, la navaja se desliza suavemente y no reseca la piel. En cuanto al aftershave, es mi preferido, en caso de irritación o resequedad, humecta y refresca muy bien. En mi caso, no me provoca alergia como muchos otros aftershave de marcas más conocidas localmente El aroma de los 3 productos es muy agradable, ligeramente mentolado, y permanece buen rato.
