The magnets are incredibly strong. They aren't going to separate without you physically pull on them so no need to worry about losing one half or them coming apart. I think possible applications are MANY. I had been looking for a way to keep my husbands pens and tire gauge from falling out of his pocket all day; he's an auto service writer. I sewed one magnet inside the outside pocket, and the glued the other to the back of the shirt. It works great! Much better than the velcro I had been using.

These were used on existing name badges that had catch pins for attachment. These magnets were applied after removing the pins. The badges were now easier to attach and there was no possibility of getting pricked by the pins or ripping the clothing. The magnets were strong enough to remain attached even through a wool sweater.

These magnetic nametag holders are literally so powerful, my coworkers and I would play a game where we'd see how weakly we could throw them at the metal door and get them to stick. Spoiler alert, the winner literally dropped the nametag and it got stuck to the door.And there were enough in the package that when people would come by and steal one or two to upgrade their name tag, I wouldn't mind at all!The magnets are strong, but are still easy to remove if you have limited mobility or strength. They di not weaken over time, and nearly a year later there's a nametag that's still stuck too high to get down.10/10, will be buying again when I run out

These are decent. They stay marginally well in place. If you have a thinner material you are sticking them to they may work better.

These are wonderful! I was sick and tired of getting holes in my shirts from my name badges. Bought these for me and my staff and was super happy with how great they work. The magnet works great on these. I am always on the move at work and have had 0 issues with these. My employees love them too!
