These are a really good base for Dan Dan noodles! You may certainly enjoy as is. I zhuzh it up with freshly cut scallions, shelled roasted peanuts, and either ground pork or chicken seasoned with garlic and ginger in a pinch or with more spices if I have them handy. This package is mildly spicy so I add Fly by Jing’s Chengdu Crunch chili oil for that satisfying next level numbing spice! I start by boiling an egg for 6 minutes and add the noodles to cook for an additional four minutes.

Successful method
I had success with this method:Noodles into already boiling water, 5 minutes at high heat. Remove with tongs-these are too delicate to pour into a strainer like pasta.During the five minutes, open the silver pack with the greens, put in small dish and throw in a tablespoon of the boiling water to "wake up". These look like finely chopped collard greens. You will need a spoonPlace the noodles into a bowl, then add red paste sauce, warmed greens, clear sauce packet and stir to coat evenly. Final step is the sesame seed packet

No instruction in English
The products (I ordered two) had no English language cooking instructions. I can’t review if I cannot even cook it!!!

Delicious, authentic taste, reasonably hot and numbing, just overpriced here on Amazon
Like the title says, the flavor is spot on, just like real szechuan flavors, both chili heat and numbing szechuan pepper heat, the most accurate example I've come across in tasting a variety of szechuan noodle products. The price is just too high. Have not been able to find the product in the many asian stores in DC yet. Note that the graphics are vastly different on the package.

2 packs is just 2 servings - basically $7 / serving of instant noodles
Tastes great (was worried after reading some other reviews), authentic savory spicy kick with quality noodles... but I thought I was buying a lot more noodles than I got. 2 packs is literally just 2 servings. You get 2 small one-serving pouches as part of the order... guess I'm used to instant ramen bags where you get 3-4 servings at least in one "pack"Why is it so little? It's not what I would consider gourmet ready-to-eat ramen either. For it to be that, you'd expect more side toppings and maybe small pieces of protein, along with a generous helping of noodles. This, in both portion size and included condiments, fits better in the instant noodle category, so the pricing is a bit expensive given what you get. If only the brand I normally eat wasn't out of stock...
