It works as intended

My box fan had this kind of cord and my dog chewed it so it would no longer work. This is exactly what I needed to replace the chewed cord and it was much better than spending $20+ for a new fan when this was all I needed.

If you have an item (my Dreamcast in this example) that expects a flat side on one of the sides...then this is the one to get. I could not use the figure 8 cords without it. The first cord I bought was the rounded side connector and that was not correct. Make sure you need this type of connector and this is the right one.

Worked perfectly. Lost my charging cord for my monster speaker and this got the job done.

Edit: Returned the cords for three new ones. New cords are also not polarized. Guys, this is dangerous. If the manufacturer of your device wanted it to have a non polarized cord, they would of built it that way, it's cheaper. Folks are being exposed to a shock risk. The product I received is not like the pic. Wall plug end is NOT polarized, as is shown in pic. Neither is it UL listed, as shown. This is very dangerous with some devices, it will put 120V on the ground side of certain devices, and if you have exposed metal, you will have 120 volts there. Polarized means that both ends of the cord can only be plugged in one way! If your device has a polarized receptacle, then the manufacturer thought it was necessary to use a polarized cord, otherwise they would have used a non-polarized one. Dangerous, dangerous, dangerous!

I bought two. They both fit perfectly and work as they're supposed to. Very good value.

Mehhhh... I'ts a power cord, not like it makes me a sandwich or anything. I found the original in storage, along with a fiber optic cable and remote control that I purchased cause i thought they were thrown away during my move. Now I have extras!! Yayyyyy!!
