These retractable stairs are the perfect solution to climb up to our stargazing deck. They can be stored bent up high beyond little ones’ reach to prevent all day access up to the top. It also takes away zero floor space on the bottom level to help preserve more room for activities. It was easy to install, and shipped faster than expected. The stairs were up and installed one week from the day we ordered them. We highly recommend this purchase.

Zero instructions! Nothing even on line! But we have common sense and mechanically inclined , so we got it installed…. (Yes Amazon has a brief instructions but It comes in two boxes , Amazon instructions don’t show this) .. Now it functions very well, exactly what we needed to reach our 10’ loft, 12 steps needed to be mounted 4” lower.. Mike

This does not hide away and tuck away in the ceiling this is hung on the wall this is not an attic ladder and is very difficult to open..

We had these stairs installed for just a little over a year. They were used at most once a month. They were never used by more than one person at a time and less than a 1/3 of the max weight. One of the side pieces broke and twisted. When we contacted the manufacturer we were told to bad, nothing they would do. Will not be replacing with these stairs.
