Great Book.

Interesting, but nothing new.

I buy most of the home decor books that come out and found this book to be one of the best in many years. It is not a how-to book, nor does it claim to be. It is a huge compilation of homes and various styles. Each time I look through it, I find inspiration. The varied homes and styles all lend themslves to my own creativity. The books does highlight various topics, like: McCoy,baskets,linens,ironstone, mercury glass.... I am pretty sure that I have seen all of the photos previously published in Country Living Magazine, but it is nice to have it all compiled into one great creative beautiful book.

Nice ideas and instructions for sprucing up furniture you already have or find when junking. Good ideas a person can use to finesse their own tweaks.

I found nothing but nice pictures to view in this book. I do alot of flea market decorating and there was nothing I could use. Ideas are mentioned in very brief text. A nice coffee table book but not an informative decorating source.
