Good - As expected, when I place my RC onto the stand it prevents the gravitational pull of the earth's effect and suspends it in the air where it is easier to work on the vehicle. I like the holes for shock maintenance and the tray-to-place parts. The price is not bad.Convenient - For those who plan to travel with this to a track it is very convent and folds flat for easy placement into a toolbox.Ugly - The plastic is susceptible to harsh chemicals like brake cleaners. It will melt the plastic. So, if you use chemicals to clean your tires etc. This might be a problem. It might (i don't know) do the same with nitro. If you are not using harsh chemicals....no issue

The base is plastic. That's ok, but it could be a little heavier with a lower center of gravity to reduce tipping. However the main problem is the height. My 1:10 models' tires hang off the platform to about ¼ inch above the base of the device. They can touch the top of the table, on which the device sits, when I rev up the motor to test it. This causes the model to rock a bit and engage the surface of the table. Not good.I used a cheap solution to both problems. I cut a slab of ¾ inch thick plywood and mounted the device on it. This raises the height and gives it more heft and a lower center of gravity. Extending the plywood slab an inch or two from the base allows me to clamp it to the table top.The device's platform is pretty well designed, but it doesn’t fit the base of some of my cars. This causes the car to be unstable when revving up the motor. If you aren’t careful the car will rock and could slip off the platform. If that happens the car can move pretty fast and end up on the floor or crash into a wall. I had to epoxy a Velcro strap to the bottom of the platform and strap the model to it before testing the throttle.

This pit stand works great in my hobby room. I didn't think that it would really make much of a difference in the way that I work on my trucks, but it really does. It allows me to move the vehicle about more freely without having to worry about holding onto it. Doing basic maintenance is a snap now, as all I have to do is flip the vehicle around on it's stand without having to worry about picking it up at all.My SCT and other trucks fit on it with their wheels and tires on with no issues. I've noticed a few people mentioning that they have trucks that drag along the table when they leave the wheels on, but I haven't had this issue. It works fine with my Torment SCT, Stampede, and my on road car. I did find that with my Summit the wheels and tires would drag, but that's a huge truck so I feel that was to be expected. I simply removed the wheels when using the stand with the Summit, and didn't have any issues. In fact, I feel that removing the wheels while using the stand would be a preferred method, as it makes it just that much easier.I'm really glad I bought the stand, as it's made maintenance on my trucks that much easier. It also breaks down to a fairly flat set of parts for easy transport inside a pit box or bag. I also like the parts tray on the front of it...no more losing screws on the floor that were just rolling around on the table!!!Highly recommended.

It's pretty well made, turns good, big enough to hold larger than 1/10 scale, but I took out a Star cause the column that holds the tray on top of the base is short, when I place my Scout ii Gen 8, with 1.9 tires, they almost touch the floor or what ever surface, and they will touch if RC is not placed right. If it was just about an 1/8" taller it be perfect for a 1/10 scale. Forget using it for anything bigger than a 1/10. Like I said, the Tray will hold bigger, but tires will be on touching surface. It is made of plastic, the column is Aluminum. I placed a couple of washers and that gave me a about an eighth more height, more than that and the column will wobble. I still would buy it again.

For the price it is totally worth it, in fact this one is my second.Pro's - Plain and simply it works and does its job. It is not black so if you drop a screw in the parts tray you can actually see it. They also make one in orange BTW. Also considering how much gets spent on the cars themselves and the parts, the $15 for this is nothing and saves a bit of the frustration, so well worth it.Things that could be better: A bit more weight in the base unit, while this is not really needed it would just make me feel better when putting a heavy RC car on it like my 1/8 scale Duratrax 835, or that matter one of the super light cars. A slightly larger top plate where it has some holes for placing things like screwdrivers for quick access. Having some optional parts might be cool too, like different height or stackable center posts so you can raise it up higher to work on in locations where 5" may not be enough, also a drop in magnetic tray adapter would be nice to have.

The media could not be loaded.  It’s worth the money just wish the pole was adjustable or got taller. Over all great purchase

Buen producto, es de plástico pero le queda bien a carros de 1/10 y 1/8.

Es una herramienta y/o base para coches de radio control muy útil, pero el terminado es un poco deficiente. La base aparenta ser en las fotos de metal pero es de plástico, le falta peso para hacerla estable y soportar coches grandes y pesados. Nada que no pueda ser corregido en casa.

Works well for my Axial SCX10. It would be nice to be able to raise it up a bit higher though. The tray works great to store body clips and screws, etc.

Nice sturdy RC car turntable, however my stand was quite loose and spins very freely, while a friend of mine who has the same stand has a much better, tighter fit. Easy fix with a bit of tape around the aluminium shaft to make it just that little bit tighter. The stand can be taken apart and stored flat, however it doesn't clip together in this form, just sits loosely on top, comes apart when being transported in a bag. It would be better if it was secured together. Overall a pretty good RC car stand, with only minor issues.
