What a great question! We recommend using only Crayola Ultra-Clean Washable Markers on any of the Crayola Scribble Scrubbie pets. Ultra-Clean is our most washable formula, and has been tested on the pets and found to clean off easily. We can't say the same for other marker formulations. Crayola Ultra-Clean Markers are readily available in many colors allowing little ones to change the colors of their pets and keep their favorites as keepsakes. We hope this helps!
