This one seems new in the market, I've tried to look for many other day countdown timers for my friend who is retiring but this one doesn't compare with any of the other ones. For a similar price it contains multiple frames specifically designed for the most common important events, each with its own dog breed artwork. I can tell there was so much effort going into designing the frames and I can use this forever depending on the next occasion and get reminded of the days to the next event, at the same time being able to look at the cute dogs for that extra boost of happiness. The size is just right for any table or counter, and the instructions were fairly easy to follow as well. The only small downside is that the screen is a bit darker compared to how it's shown in the images, but the screen is big enough that it is very readable from anywhere in the room, and the backlight's high brightness, turned on with a press of a button, makes up for it as it is a lot brighter than how it's shown in the images.

Gift for my brother in-law who’s going to retire in a few months. Better than others — as it’s not solely for retirement. This way it can be used to countdown for Christmas, birthdays, etc.

This is a great. It comes with multiple interchangeable faces for different occasions. We currently have the Halloween one on and will soon change it to the birthday face. The direction to set this up were simple to follow. The only down side is that it isn’t constantly lit up, that would’ve been a nice feature. Other then that, I really enjoy it. Fun way to create anticipation for special occasions and holidays.

This is a great little item! It's the right size for not crowding up a desk surface. So far, it's been working great, keeping time correctly. Unsure if it will last the necessary nearly 4 years, but we'll see. The dog themes are simply adorable. Sadly, today the Amazon site now shows that they're unavailable. Hopefully, more will come in. Maybe it's a tariff issue, though.

Pretty cheaply made, hence the price

Inexpensive & entertaining for grandkids. They love the different faces you can put on the clock. They love checking the countdown. Trace the face plates and have them design their own or for whomever or whatever holidays, special events they are excited about. For the price it's lasted several years. Convenient size.

Purchased two for countdown to wedding gifts. Received well and saw them being used. Goad to give a gift that can be used for more than my intended wedding gift. Used for birthdays and other countdowns as well.

Screen on product was broken when received. It appeared like the screen had been pushed on and there were black lines where there shouldn’t be.
