Great visuals that help to learn
In my opinion, this book is a good foundation or starting point for someone who has to learn statistics at a college level. The issue with statistics in colleges and universities seems to be that concepts are not visualized making it hard to remember. This book gets around that by using cartoons to help the reader visualize the data and understand it better. In my opinion, its a good book to purchase to help establish a some understanding of statistics. Also, if your interested in learning more about statistics, I would suggest looking for a book on iBooks called Introduction to Statistics by David Lane; its free and interactive.

Try a visual understanding
Loved the Introduction to philosophy. This was much harder to introduce as a subject yet I understood much more than I have from any Intro to statistics book I have read. Fun and educating. Loved it.

This book is amazing, and definitely got me through statistics a lot more easily. It's not the best thing to learn from as a textbook, but it's definitely motivating to just sit there and do the work, and have straightforward descriptions of what it is you're actually trying to measure. I bought one for myself, and will probably buy one again for a friend. Highly recommend if you have issues paying attention in stats!
