Okay, the people claiming the holes didn't line up... I understand it can happen, but based on looking at the parts I received and looking at the photos people claimed were "drilled wrong".... No, it appears to me that they did not think to rotate, flip or otherwise re-orientate the parts haha! I wish them well in their lives, because they are probably going to have a lot of basic struggle if they had a hard time with this desk assembly :PThis was truly the easiest desk to put together- the parts are heavy/sturdy, but it does not hinder the ability to put them together. I am a small 5'4" American young woman and I put it together whilst listening/singing/goofing off (AKA halfway paying attention to the instructions) to a some vinyl records at 12am, and I finished it at 1:53am.This desk is amazing, I have another desk that was from a true furniture store that my Dad got me when I was 8, because he wanted to be sure I "had a place to read, write and do whatever I needed to" as I got older. I still have that desk and it is VERY sturdy and has zero wobble.This desk *will* wobble some if you shake on it, but not nearly in a way that is dangerous or likely to lose anything to a tragic drop off of the shelves or other surface. I have a tall and heavy lamp placed alllllmost on the edge of the top bookshelf, and again, it *will* wobble, but I shook the hell out of the desk and the lamp will giggle, but not wobble/topple. It's good. I'd put my stained glass lamp on it if I wanted it there, but I'm pleased with my color-changing lamp being up there :-)My Jack Russell brothers approve, so that in itself is the highest of honor- they haven't tried to chew, pee or attack it, so it's a win-win all the way around. I can do my invoices/address labels for my business on my chromebook, game on my laptop, scoot over and use the open surface to write my books, I can store books, my DSLR, journals and even my sentimental Care Bear on the shelves. WOW! I can’t believe we scored this desk for just over $100. This is a GREAT buy. The desk is very sturdy, and the finish is nice - it doesn’t look fake or cheap at all. We have the very top shelf removed on ours, because our monitors were too tall by barely an inch - however, they fit very nicely side by side (two 27’’) and there’s still plenty of space. We have fixed height monitors, so I imagine the majority of people would still get to enjoy having the extra shelf!I would more closely rate this product a 4.5, for the sole fact we did not receive an instruction manual. Despite this, it was pretty self explanatory to put together, and we were able to figure it out just fine. We received all the required hardware, and the holes lined up nicely, making it a smooth build. Would highly recommend!

A couple things to note, this desk is a little complicated to assemble, the surface area and headset hooks are a bit narrow. This desk comes in quite a few pieces and the instructions are not the best. It’s mostly a pictorial instruction set and could use some more written instructions to make things easier. As for the surface area the shelves are narrower than I expected but it still has barely enough space for my needs. The main desk has just enough room for my monitor and keyboard but you’re going to definitely want this against a wall as theres barely room to spare and my monitor does hang off the back a bit to compensate. Now for the good stuff, this desk is solid. It’s not the most sturdy thing ever but for a diy cheap desk it’s awesome. If you tighten everything down just right the desk hardly moves. The wood is fairly dense and the finish is beautiful. It comes with hole covers so if you’re not liking the industrial look you can cover up the excess screw holes. Those extra screw holes are somewhat plentiful as this desk is customizable, you can adjust the side and height of the shelving unit to meet your needs. Honestly very happy with this desk but buyer beware you might have to clear an evening to assemble it.

Bought this as a temporary desk while my brother was staying in my office. I put this in the corner of my bedroom so I could work while he was staying with me. I used it for about a week until he moved out and now its my lady’s crafting desk.I put it together in about 45 minutes by myself and it was pretty easy. My only caution is that they mean it when they say to not tighten all the bolts down until its fully assembled. It will need to be adjusted as you go.It seems sturdy enough for most office/crafting tasks, though I didnt put anything heavy on it while I was using it. My lady does have a bunch of crafting supplies on it now, but thats not really heavy either.For the price, this is an excellent value. Wish I could get something like this made here in America for this price, but thats just not going to happen so here we are.

🌺👌🏼 This desk is perfect. I have zero complaints. Well suited for smaller spaces, very sturdy, fits my chungus LIAN LI LANCOOL II mid sized case (bottom shelf) and plenty of room up top for knick knacks.🌺☝🏼TIP FOR BUILDING! The build guide is flawed and can be awkward building in the order that the manual suggests. It will be much easier to build the shelf section in entirety, follow with building the main desk area, and combine the two in the end.🌺☝🏼 BUILD FASTER and SAVE YOUR HANDS! The hand tools included with the kit to secure screws could be real pain if you have arthritis or weak hands. I HIGHLY recommend using a powered screwdriver if you have one available for speedy build and no strain on your hands! Switch your P screws with GRIP RITE COARSE THREAD DRYWALL SCREWS 1-5/8" 4.128cm screws. They are dark tone and blend well against the black surface and secure just as well if not better than the screws provided, in half the time!

I read a few reviews about people being unhappy with this desk. I don't understand the problems. Building it was very easy - the instructions were similar to that of Ikea and took me 30 minutes.Overall, it looks great, it gives me plenty of work space and it feels quite sturdy and solid. I would recommend it to anyone that has a tight budget or wants storage and functionality. The shelves are strong enough and the wood looks nice and rustic.

I spent a very long time looking at small desks before finally going with this one and OMG does it hit the mark! I read a few reviews about parts not lining up and such but I realize now that must have been user error (the shelf can go on either side) because this thing was super easy to assemble solo.It is quite sturdy though I would only use the middle shelf for truly heavy items because it is reinforced and the others are not. This suits me fine since I only planed to have a few reading and writing supplies on them anyways.At the end of the day for $120 the quality far surpasses what is suggested by its price tag.

So this is a 2 year review of the desk, which I purchased in 2021.I bought this for my then 12 year old son. He's now 14, and I am just now noticing that it's getting a bit wobbly where the desk and bookshelf join. This is after 2 years of being a workhorse of a desk.. for school work, and gaming. The condition of the desk is in excellent shape. It's really held up, and has no scratches. I've just bought him a new desk, that is all one piece, and will find another use for this one, as even a little wobbly it still has many uses.

I’m really happy with my purchase.It’s easy to assemble and the furniture is freaking beautiful ok?!The size is ok, I have two monitors, one of 27'' and one of 24'' and that’s ok for me.In the instruction manual, you have Option A to put the shelf on the right and option B to put the shelf on the left.It also has ''spare'' screws if you need them for x reason.I’m literally gonna buy another piece of furniture from this company.
