the balls and the bands are three different levels (soft, medium and hard) (and the finger bands are two different sizes of 3 different strengths, 6 bands total)

Q: Does this come with instructions that show different movements and such to help rehab your hand?

Yes, the little colored balls, come with instructions of how to put the middle piece thru the ball, plus instructions of how to do different exercises.JG.

Q: What is the diameter of the ball?

diameter (from one point on the outside to a point opposite on the outside) is roughly 2.5 inchesa little bigger than a racquetball.... smaller than a tennis ball.

Q: How often should someone be using the balls and how many reps should you be doing? (I go rock climbing 3-4x a week)

I use them before and after ever session of climbing. Before I do 20 reps each of the three exercises. After I do 10 of each. I climb 2-3 times a week. I do not use these to build strength, I use them to maintan hand/finger health. I swear by them. I use the middle hardness mainly.
