took a long time to get to me. as a long time installer i tried something different with a set of alpine soft dome tweeters for half the price, and they produced much better than these units. nice product though. some people hear differently and i just liked the alpines better.

The tw-120b's cant even compare to these. The tw's sound awful they are just loud. These on the other hand sound great and they are loud. I bought the recommended a pillar tweeter pods for these and you'll have to glue them in because the screw on sleeve they have wont fit in the back. Other then that they have a very slim mounting depth so they'll work great for door pannels. Definitely need good power and they are sql not by any means spl. Great tweeter, officially my recommend tweeter for the price, cant beat them.

I want to add my support and enthusiasm for these tweeters and DS18 in general. 2 pair of these sing in my front doors, 1 set high in the sail panels and the other flush with the midbass aimed at the opposite door, amped @ 2ohms, peaking around 200-250 watts. Crystal clear, very loud yet soothing. They have survived a STL winter and I have not babied them. Build quality and mounting methods absolute first rate. A suite of DS speakers make for an awesome soundstage.

After a short break up in period they sound great , loud and clear and makes the music come alive. I put these in and old set of Technics speakers ,also replaced the mid-range with an American bass 5" ,still has the original woofer. Sound great loud (119 db) and at low (family friendly) volume with everything from progressive death metal to classical.They cannot be fairly judged straight out of the box as it took a few days to lossn them up.

Read carefully and notice what's missing, even on their website, NO WARRANTY AT ALL!!! and good luck getting someone on the phone...
